curling leaves ?!?!

am using soil, unknown bagseed, half strength biobizz grow, 200w CFL, watering regular and ive noticed that some of the plants leaves are curling some worse than others yet other sets of fan leaves are fine on the same plants. ive had it suggested that it could be heat stress, but thought the enviro should be heat free or close to...

all help appreciated!

hahahaha yeah its like the leaf has stretched during the growing and the stalk in the middle isnt long enough for it to be straight?!

ill do a reading in a few hours n post im feeding half strength biobizz with every water, watering about every 2-3 days as andwhen i see the top of the soil drying a bit

Possibly its to cold when your lights are off or there is not enough oxygen in the soil

so i switched them to 12/12 and took some ph readings and their all pretty much in line at just under or over 7 the lowest at 6.5 the highest 7.25 ?!!?! im stumped

dunno if it was wise but i gave them a dose of big bud for good measure

I have the same problem. I was never able to figure it out. I also have more info. If you look at the curled leaves vs the non curled you may notice the curled have a waxy or shinny look to them.

With my plants i caused this by taking the plant to flower then putting it back in veg after sexing. I then started to take cutting for clones. After that is when it happened. Also the clones do not show any signs of this problem. All new growth on the mother is fine. Only the older growth has the symptom. Mine is allot worse than what your plant is.

I use FF grow big and Big Bloom with dirt and verm mised in. I also noticed the mother that has this problem drinks allot of water. If i let her go more than a day with out a big drink she starts to wilt.

i hadnt noticed the shiny aspect until you mention it but yeah they are, wierd eh? i guess as long as your clones are fine its all good?! id still like tro know whats going on though

well ive been using an envirolight for veg with a 6 inch oscilating fan up until about as week ago when i got an inline fan. i figured i wouldnt need the oscilating fan once id gone into 12/12 the temp with the new 600 hps is around 25C/77F the fan going 24/7

The temps for me are around 80 or so. With 8 cfl running. I also have a 4 or 6 inch fan blowing air around. I am thinking it may be stress but i am now leaning to root lock. The reason is that one of the clones that is about 2 weeks into flowering is showing curling on about 4 sets of leaves and is the same size as the mother when it started. It also does not explain the new growth not having the problem. The clone is in a diff enclosure than the mother but they are in the same size pots. I think they are 1.5 gallon or so. They may be to small for the plants. I will have to transplant and see if the mom clears up. My guess from previous experience is that it will not. once they get shinny and curl they do not go back. Maybe i should try to wipe them down with a damp cloth and see if that helps.... Hum..

good luck, mine seem to be showing very little sign of improving or worsening?!?! so i think ill just see what happens ive got them in 9 ltr pots so doubt its locking the nutes but i could be wrong am still only a novice...
