why does it seem like we're all just shooting blanks in the dark? Can someone that has more experience and can say definitively chime in here?

No one can give a definitive answer unless they know all the details of your grow, i.e., how you feed, what you feed, how you water, lights used, light positioning, the soil you are using and so forth. It could be heat damage but it could be many other things also.

my soil is a mix of 1/3 worm castings, peat, perlite (alot of extra perlite) the soil gets completly dry daily, one day she gets 350 ml of just lime and water, every other day she gets 350ml of molasses (a little banana) and water,
i moved the light which fixed the heat problem so how long till she feels better? if heats the problem that is. im using a 400w hps

it all depends, I have a lack of calcium for my girls I just keep on leafing them and it seems like all the new growth is healthy, I leafed my girls and they looked like sticks and very few leafs and new growth and 3 days after potting they all look the same again

I read if you used distilled water at room temp your gonna have a better chance of getting a female
If that's what it takes to get people to use good water for their plants at an appropriate temp, then go for it.

I hear if you water with a spray bottle and shake the bottle up before you water then you're more likely to get females, too. ;)
