Curling Yellow leaf tip PICS PICS

this started about a week ago and it started from the top down...
i jut flushed her a week ago and its still spreading
light about 15 inches from canopy...could be overheating?
This is a soil grow and i feed her once a week but i might have went up to 3/4 strength nutes last time by mistake...
8 weeks veg and i just turned to 12/12 today
Any insight on this peeps?

feed it. should have been at full feed long ago.

Its a 450 W HPS.... i dont think its nute burn cuz nute burn normally starts from bottom up...and this one started from the top down!!!??

never heard of a 450 hps....need to know your ph levels...in and out

Ph level .... water in 7.2
water out 6.3

ok way to high, and what about the food ph levels. and what medium are you growing in

Im growing in a mixture of coco coir and a dash of composite and about 100 grams of a slow dissolving fertilizer ca - ph - sulfur (16 - 3 - 0.5) ... and from the threads here it seems that that is the best PH level for this type of medium.

I feed them once a week but i never measures the ph of the food. NPK 20 20 20

Looks like you also have some heat stress going on. usually yellowing is a nitrogen deficiency but I don't know if that's the case for your plant.

what do you mean a composite. and coco is way way lower than that for ph. no medium is fed at 7.2 for the right ballance of all ellements, another bad move is slow disolving foods. and not sure what the ca - ph - sulfur 16/3/.5 means but if those are the numbers on the label ive never seen those elements listed that way. its usualy N/P/K not the other ellements in it...and there sure isnt a nutritional number for ph...well as i said in the first post its your ph and now i see you dont even look at it shows the answer.
you should be feeding and watering at about 5.8 to 6.1 ...im also guessing this 20/20/20 is miricle grow? if so more food thats hard on ph and salt content

heat is 1 issue i dont see. the curling and stuff is from moisture...to much either by not allowing to dry or humidity, heat goes the other way....up, trying to retain moisture or transpiration

Next time you water put a little used coffee grounds near the base of your plant, it'll give the plant extra nitrogen. If that's the problem then solved, if not I bet you'll see a little growth spurt from your girl. I've never gotten nute burn from using coffee grounds either, in case you were worried about that.

adding any food to a plant without fixing or even using his ph isnt good. wont solve anything. hes already shown its a ph with what he uses for water and what the run off is. at 7.2 hes been using it has nitro but not the other needed ellements that are way lower.

Dude....i live in a country where i have no access to all the luxurious brands of soil and nutes that u guys have...i just have normal coco coir which constitutes about 70% of the soil and 20% perlite and 5% composite (which is decomposing organic material) and 5% of the nutes (which is here in my country used for improving the properties of the soil). mind you i live in agricultural country so we have lots of nutes but not branded so i have to pick and choose the ones that are best suitable for the situation.

I feed using 20 - 20 - 20 NPK.

Go to the coco lovers thread in the indoor growing forum and everyone there says that this is the perfect PH for coco coir. check it out for yourself.

Now the question here is can i use the 20 -20 -20 for the flowering stage too or will it have excess nitrogen that the plant does not need and will get a nute burn??

hey man whats going on i have a similiar problem but my plants are about a week old and i dont know if i am doing something wrong or what because i germinated these seeds my self and really dont know what i am doing but the one plant the textured leaves at the ends are shriveled up and kinda black at the tips and som yellow spots. the other plant its stem is purple and and on the leaves there is little yellowish brownish spots...... please do not know what to do!!!!!!!! can some one please help me!!!!!!!!! i will post up pictures soon....

i wasnt insulting dood. i didnt know what you meant by that soil was all. as with the number for the nutes. ok so that raio id just call myself growing in coco then. not enough of your organic to do make a diff realy.
well as far as them telling you 7.2 is ph for coco...look where it got you. they are dead nuts wrong if that what they told you. its 5.8 to 6.2. give or take a point or 2
your 20/20/20 will work somehwat,.and they actualy use more nitro in bloom than phos now that we have better testings done on plant specific testing, they will only uptake what they need anyways and leave the rest. so just get good run off each time to refresh the medium and not get the build up and mess with the ph again. and again...to much nutes dont burn,. its adding to much and not getting enough run off and they build up. and when they build up the ph goes out of whack and then we see burns. thats from the ph being out and they cant eat the food in the medium. i feed full dose the whiole way through flower and dont burn here, actualy by about week 4 in veg im at full dose
