ah ha! so with a little deductive reasoning and some simple math.. i discovered a solution for us US growers. 1 tsp/gal gives you (roughly) 775 ppm.
1 mL/Litre = 610 ppm
4 L = 1 gal (US) approx
5 mL = 1 tsp (US) approx
1 tsp/gal = 775 ppm approx
775 ppm sounds like a healthy enough strength for good, healthy soil (such as yours, or my FF Ocean Forest i plan to use). not to mention REALLY damn easy to measure. just get a gallon jug, dose it with FloraNova, top it off with water, shake and feed as per your schedule. that's my plan at least. every grow i've seen most make it through veg (in FF OF soil) without nutrients. most grows i've seen where they have issues during veg (deficiencies, nute burn, etc.) is probably because their soil was strong enough but everyone is convinced they have to add fertilizer or nutrients to the soil. if ain't broke don't fix it.
the only place i would think feeding is necessary (if starting with good soil) is during flower to give the ladies some umpf and really crank out the buds/trichomes.
that's my two cents. take what you need my brotha' !
