Looking for a light timer that will let me say my lights to 8 hrs on 10 hrs off.. or a diy solution..

Most timers are very flexible, just set it to do what you want.

They are flexible on a 24hr light schedule.. I'm looking for a 18hr light schedule timer @Renfro

No they are programmable by time and mine have 8 cycles so any hours can be my day , same with old fashion timers

You could use a repeat cycle timer.
