Customs opened my package but sent seeds anyways... wrote plant seeds on pink slip...

I received my seeds from the 'tude... the Canadian Customs opened the package, re-sealed it with their yellow tape, and taped a pink "referral" slip on outside of package. And checked "plant" in a box and wrote "seeds" in description.


I find its weird I got the seeds even though customs seen what they are.

any thoughts on this?

lol sounds like the customs worker was new on the job

he mightv just tthought they were just seeds for some random plant and labled so to move them on the way lol

where the seeds in breeders pack at the time, or did you have them removed?? i find this pretty crazy as i've recently seen a few threads where canadian customs has opened up packages with beans in them, then smashed the seeds to tiny lil bits, than sent them on their merry way, which would really piss me off even more so than them taking them honestly..

lol, yah, i've had one order snagged by customs and all i got was the lovely letter telling me someone was trying to mail me some form of contraband, and under it was a short list of what some forms of contraband were, ie, fireworks, steroids, amyl nitrate, had to look that one up, and lastly drugs..
the drug box was checked and under it was handwritten in in red ink... SEEDS

the seeds were in a tin (which I never asked for, plus Im missing my UFO#3... so I think they gave me a tin instead?) and in original breeder packs...

I have read all those threads, which are pretty recent... I dunno what to think about this....

I have a Sannies order that should be here... they shipped on the 1st and still nothing, whereas my 'tude order shipped on the 6th and I just got it... kinda worried im tagged or something...

now thats a concern

its really sounding like a idiot customs worker letting some seeds by on his first day

if not id be alittle concerned

i mean unless the place of origin marked it plants/seeds

well, i'm not sure how canada works, but i know that the order i had snagged was from sannies.. it was like a month since i ordered, so i emailed sannie and he told me that is much too long to wait for an order, and that he would reship..
exactly one week later, i got the mail and lo and behold my sannies order was in with it.. the very next day, bring in the mail, and notice i had another package from sannies.. i was like woohoo, i'm going to get my order twice, lol.. when i went to open the package, i noticed it had been stapled shut.. you already know the outcome...
my point is this though, i think if they were to put my on some sort of watch list, i never would have gotten the second order from sannies, nor any of like 100 other seed purchases that i've made since that time..
like i said, maybe canada is different than the us, but if anything, i'd think that they'd be less strict that we are here.

It depends where they are going to in Canada because in Canada you can grow plants with no green card. It could have been someone new on the job or knows that they were mj seeds and just pasted them through.

Either Way its why I order seeds from seed banks in the country to help make it more sure that I get them instead of ordering it from out side the country and wonder if customs took them or not.

That would freak me out a little I mean with the note all they know is what you were thinking about doing...but now they know you got them...so...I am sure everything is fine...hell maybe the guy who checked yours is a friend to the cause and sent them on with good wishes...I've been stoned with all types of people so ya never know...

I passed the pink "referral" slip to my friend who is a canadian customs officer, so I'll see what they think.

I am kinda worried about it all, but then again Canada does have a federal Medical Marijuana Program, so maybe its all good... depending on the officer who checks?

I still think it has to do with most of Canada its legal to grow.

I was under the assumption that possessing cannabis seeds was legal in canada but importing them was not.

im not sure about the growing though? where in canada is it legal to grow?

also the "pink referral slip" was from Canadian Customs not from the sender.

so they opened and looked and wrote plant seeds on the referral... its a standard form that had areas for meat and guns and whatnot... and plants.

had badge number, if it needed "pic" Y or N... circled N

had the tracking number on the slip, and thats about it... plus seeds in description... nothing about marijuana anywhere.

fuck this has me all paranoid like a school kid waiting for the cops to show at my parents place.

maybe the customs officer is 420 friendly. pocketed UFO #3 and sent the rest on.

another dude got 2 orders looked thru and all seeds were crushed but sent on...

im kinda glad I got my seeds but still paranoid as fuck right now.
