Hey guys, I'm facing a tough decision. Well my baby slow down a LOT in growth so i think its rootbound. I've been growing her for about 4-5 months. and it only looks like it has about 3 grams of bud on her. It hasn't grown in the past month. So i think its rootbound and i cant get more soil to move it into a gallon bucket. And by the time i start a new seed and have it grow a lot i, or i could let my root bound baby wait and do nothing for her. What would you do?

...into a gallon bucket
Holy crap dude, you've got it in less than a gallon??? Wow, there's probably nothing but roots in that container. Is it still in a party cup or something? Yeah, it's not gonna give you squat unless you give it some room to grow. Big roots = big fruits.

it is in a 1 gallon bucket, but i need to get it into a 5 gallon bucket, it is good to grab soil from outside
if you want to use outside soil then you need to bake it in the oven to kill off any bacteria, bugs, larva or eggs. The downside to that is it cooks off most of the nutrients in the soil, so you'll have to add nutes back into it. Also depending on the type of soil you will need to add a lot of perlite and some dolomite because of ph issues. By the time you get your soil ready, you might as well have bough a $5 bag of scotts or kelloggs down at Home Depot and it'll probably have better nutrients in it than what your soil has in it. $5 for a bag of soil, $3-$5 for a bag of amend and your set. Maybe a total of $12 after tax. If you can't swing that, I would recommend waiting to grow until you have a little spending cash.

read up on your shit before you start, its all in the preperation, big plants need 20l buckets, 3 ft plants in flower need at least 11 ltr.
SQUARE pots this stops the roots swirling roumd and round and growing constantly,
plenty of places sell all you need to grow your shit, food, buckets, growing substate costs about £50 for a four plant setup, this is the minimum needed, start as you mean to go on,
big plants big buckets,
