Show me a garden-any garden, that uses a technique of piercing the stem to make it do something other than stress the hell out of it. Any picture or an article at least would suffice. This is something the Chinese practiced many centurys ago.
Many centurys ago people where trying to get the most out of their plants just like we are doing now (experimenting), to include peircing with rusted nails, choking plant with rope, honestly the list goes on and on. I am sure they found out it did not work, point is it's been tryed. What these people are doing is nothing new, it was done centurys ago.Show me a garden-any garden, that uses a technique of piercing the stem to make it do something other than stress the hell out of it. what kind of lighting, strain and nutrients. How much dry weight does one of those plants come out to?flower them from clones before they get over 10 inches tall.
Thats a nice set up, but no you don't "got me". Lets wait and see how they go, and when they get bigger to tell your harvest weight on your best 3.
Peace and Happy Grows.
this grow is awesome....youve been doin this awhile huh?I guess I better jump in, then. Now I got ya.
Under a 400w HPS, and light mover - popped just over two pounds cured.
Had I removed the fan leaves, I likely wouldn't have even pulled a full pound cured. Granted this took a bit more time because of the lower light level, but plain and simple, removing your larger fan leaves, which produce far more energy than the little green leaves near the buds, will DRASTICALLY drop your production. And near the last two weeks is when buds get FAT and heavy.
Trim in veg - leave it alone in flower unless it's ready to fall off by itself, or it's showing signs of sickness and needs to be cut away as a preventative measure.
For reference, that's not chicken wire holding those buds up, it's tomato wire - holes about as large as a fist. Each cola dry was about an eighth, and there was loads of popcorn still underneath.Youve got to be kidding. All those little buds came up to 32 oz's dry?
