ouch, dont cut off your fan leaves, especially when they are this young and this small. Oh well, at least you know now i guess. those big Fan leaves are the biggest and most effecient energy makers and storers that drive the rest of the plants growth.

i cut fan leaves in the shape of a jap flag( for you to get the idea) dont take em all till stems turn purple, if then, and only then if they intrude on the lower ones?? show ya what mine looks like. call this jesus weed notice the head on top and thats a two litter pitcher next to it

I've pruned my leaves when they started to die off from nute burn.
It seems the nearby branching lacked in growth compared to the ones supported by fan leaves. This may be the only drawback.

I wish people would ask about stuff like this before going and doing it and not just do it and then ask about it afterwards but i guess at least he learned something and hopefully wont make the mistakes again.

im kind of torn on that one, ive done alot of learning on my own and on some of it i ended up really wishing i had checked on it first before doing it. ive also seen some truths i wouldnt of learned otherwise that are not in direct alignment with poular beliefs.....also alot that were basically right but were not compltely true all the time in all situations.
