Cutting my plants to make clones

My plants recently have suffered nutrient burn they are recovering I've been given them nothing but well balanced pH 6.5 water .they are in the late veg cycle, using regular soil .I'm getting ready to cut some branches to make clones. Is it safe to say I can go ahead and do it now or should I wait until they fully recovered from nutrient burn

Could be wind burn.. likely PH issues. PH test your runoff. How long has it been since you addressed the lockout?

Up to you on taking cuts. If your plant is struggling to bounce back I personally wouldn't induce more stress to it. Then again, it's in veg and they are some resilient mfers.

So how do I test the runoff and what is the lockout the runoff is the water that comes out the pot

I said lockout but I was referencing nutrient burn.

Yes, the runoff is excess water that comes from pot.

Allow soil to dry a lil, place a bowl of some sort underneath pot, ph adjust your water, slowly add PHed water(6.5-7.0) to soil and wait for the first few drops to runoff into bowl. PH test it.

I'm not a soil grower but that PH should test the same as the PH you poured in.

Shame you gave so much nutes to a beautiful plant that didn’t need it

Edit: especially since some may be final stretching ?
