they sat in my window sill for just short of 2 months. lol
we shall see how they do.
That’s a long time. I sit cuts in water as well. I’m guessing the water may be getting too warm from the sunlight in the window. I sit my cup in the shade, and roots are shooting through like your update there at about 12 days. Give or take a day. Good job for having the patience. It’s worth it.

hmmm... I guess I could leave them alone a while longer and see what I end up with.
Thanks
When my easy clone is full that is what I do with my cuttings until there is space. I think you'll be fine even if you don't wait but waiting will only ensure good growth.

I removed a few cuttings from a GDP I have vegging... 26 days ago.
They sit in my kitchen window and I change their water every few days. I think there's roots growing. lol
I dont mind them hanging out on the sill, but really...
If I plant them in some soil at this point what might their chances be?

I root all my house plants in water and even have a few split leaf philodendron s that are huge and thriving growing in just water for 2 years now. They get nutrients from algea growing on the roots and the spring water I fill the jar with.
I imagine cannabis will do the same if you can keep the stem from rotting. Which I've had happen on normal house plants. As long as there is a leaf node and it doesn't rot it will grow. Just don't let it go dry.
