thats very interesting. so where did the other watts go? im assuming the ballast was inside the tent too?

The heater converts all electricity to get though right? The hps uses 20% or so for light? Which is why it's less?

because that is skewing your wall measurement. where you are measuring 618W at the wall could be 460W in the tent if it was an inefficient magnetic ballast at 75% efficiency

ok well that electronic is prob 85-90% which would skew a little. so your 618 is like 500-550W in the tent
