Click on "contact us". Send a nice message, I did. I just told them while I agree with the idea of keeping kids off of drugs, the truth is important. If kids/young adults find out that what you have been telling them is not ALL true, they are less likely to believe the things that are true. The idea is to delay or stop use until they are old enough to make a choice based on correct information. I didn't look but did you see how much they talk about prescription drugs? Worse than weed imo.

They aren't daring anyone. It is a stupid acronym. You know anything that has to deal with the government needs a stupid fucking acronym to feel official.

Drug.Abuse.Resistance.Education.

They do what a lot of parents do - lie to kids to achieve a result. It is hard to keep kids from smoking cannabis if they tell the kiddies that it is not only the safest / most fun recreational drug - but it is also medicine.

I remember I was in elementary school and D.A.R.E. and the Philadelphia police department came and we had a big assembly.They literally covered every drug imaginable,They brought in crack pipes a body bag to say thats what you will end up in from drunk driving.But the coolest part was this video they showed us it was a slide show of people that were shot up by AK47's and other guns from a drug war they were all real pictures they all had the eyes covered up This was some pretty graphic shit I would not want my kid seeing this shit even the teachers were suprised about this shit.But that was a pretty interesting day in school.

Yeah I remember that, that they talked about crack and ecstasy and valiums and pot in the same sentence, trying to make us this that each are as common as the next. When I was 10, I straight up told them that I'd seen people smoking pot a few times, never seen someone smoking crack... in the high-middle class neighborhood that I stayed in as a child, I don't think that I would have seen crack for my whole life...fucking suburb of Newport News, VA. I actually went to DARE Elementary school...

That is interesting.

They didn't talk about violence other than telling us to squash it. They hit the drugs hard (cigs, booze and cannabis) which was funny cause I don't remember anything other than "drugs are bad" mmmmmmkay.

I've never seen crack in my life. I live all around crackheads. I've been in rooms with old fuckers smoking their stems. Fortunately, he chose to go to the other room to load up his glass dick to take a toke. Crack and Meth are ALL around me, and I have never seen either, thankfully. And I made that decision without DARE ;-)

Done both, but they're not worth it... just get some regular cocaine, the addiction curve on that is actually pretty easy... as long as you put your money where you can't get to it on the night of use.

Meth is better than crack... though people do get addicted to it, it's because they do it in the wrong way. Take a little rail of meth, do your studying... take a little rail of meth to get high, you're already an idiot and on your way to being an addict... I find it's too hard to keep meth at it's proper distance though, so I don't do it... meth is the best though, but an adderall or ritalin would serve most people better...

MJ smoke can and does cause cancer...Then again almost all smoke and tainted air you breath does the same thing. That's not a lie....

However calling MJ unsafe is a fucking lie. I guess it's unsafe because in the super long run it may give you cancer...However no one fucking OD's or Kills for the drug. Seriously It's impossible to overdose. It's this type of propaganda that makes kids think other drugs are harmless. Kids try weed and say, "hey that wasn't bad or dangerous" and then they become more willing to try harder shit because they think they were lied to about those other drugs. Seriously, I saw a meth documentary these kids were told meth and weed were both equally deadly and dangerous. They started smoking weed and moved on to meth thinking that they were similar in terms of effects.

Just my opinion..... Then they and the parents that lie to their kids are adding to the problems with society. Lying breeds lies, I'd kick my kids ass (not literally) for lying to me. Don't they deserve the same??? :peace:

I agree that D.A.R.E. Should listen more to the Doctors, than the law makes.. It's the way of our society though... :peace:

Actually the MJ and cancer link has little viability. Studies find no link between cancer and MJ. Even though MJ smoke does contain more harmful things, THC is thought to inhibit tumor growth. Some believe MJ can be used to combat cancer.

There's a guy with the username hempcurescancer on here... I think that MJ could probably help with cancer, but... I wouldn't expect a miracle deep into it... just a better quality of life, maybe an extension... though it's quite a good plant, maybe one of the best on the planet, an uplifting intoxicant is more than half of it's value, I sadly opinion-ate.

When dare came to my school i got kicked out the first day for drawing the cop humping an animal. I think it was a dog or a horse or somthing. but every time they came in to our class that week to talk i would have to sit in the office. Guess thats why im a stoner lol. They still ended up giving me a cert. saying i passed. which is dumb.
