Its been a long while since I posted and I wanted to share Pics of a simple and very effective type of Aeroponics... FogPonics.
I'm just showing pics not giving a detailed how-to. I'll update the pics later when the current batch in it pop roots.
A 5 gallon bucket and lid. Laid out and drilled for standard cloner plugs, 15 sites.
A piece of 1/4" Insulfoam board cut to fit the bottom inside diameter of the bucket. the center cut to fit a 3" netpot.
A 32 watt single head ultrasonic fog head
Some 1/4" air tube, a anti siphon valve, 5" single sided airstone
1 5 gallon rated air pump.
(*Cough* Wally World, Lowes)
About $50 in materials costs new.
Notice the pic of the lid and the 1/4" hole opposite the supply cord Hole.... Its for a 1/4" airline attached to a small 5 gallon rated air pump. Attached to that is an airstone with a plastic base, the air being diffused on just one side.... I hang it just under the lid, turned slightly in. It creates a slight venturi effect and helps distribute the fog in the chamber top to bottom and keeps it moving.
BTW use only distilled or RO water, EVER. Salts minerals and calcium screw up the fog head. Also use only 1/2 the nutes per gallon that you'd normally clone with. I recommend a 2.5 - 2.75 gallon fill in the bucket.
Happy cloning
