dam mold pm please help!!!!

cut down my girls and trimmed today and everything is so dense that a lot of the top thicker colas got mold while on the plant. they are hanging right now.... what can be done? if anything...thanks in advance.... also i have a dehumidifier in my drying room trying to help and have a fan moving air around but not blowing directly on them

remove all of the damaged buds from the stem and place it on a screen to dry.(or throw them out)
Do you have air movement in the drying room?? remember not directly on the buds, but around the buds..

yes there is plenty of movement in the drying room, it happened while it was growing, everything was just too dense and wet and out of the 9 girls it only happened to the 5 pineapple express, the other 4 that were a different strand did not have these problems.im not sure if its mold or powder mildew.....its like a purplish /white mess... some people have said to lower the humidity below 20%, will this help?

and what can i do to prevent this from happening again? thanks in advance and of course +rep to all that help

yes next time u grow check your HUMIDITY levels and make sure when ur flowering it NEVER goes over 50% try to keep it 30-40% and u shouldnt ever have that problem again..if its powdery mildew..if its mold it could be from overwatering and high humidity

I believe that powerdery mildew can be smoked just not ingested.......I read that in a book im not sure if its true........My mom had a bad midlew prob and she just smoked it all anyways...shes still alive.lol

I dont know about mold though...Ive never had a mold problem after harvest usually my mold issues come half way through flowering

its hella nasty to smoke tho..i would say eat it..when i got PM the worst ones got made into butter and i think while i cooked the butter for 24hours in a crock pot all the Powdery Mildew died off or something..i just got high as hell and none of my friends or dad complained about the edibles i was making...Powdery mildew will make the bud smell and taste like shit, plus when u snap nugs apart its like smacking two chalk board erasers together, its all bad..

I am very inexperienced, but i have some input. I know a guy that has garden i walked into the space and it smelled like mold and everyone of his pots that were full of dirt looked as if he had just watered, Keep in mind that this guy has been raising girls for 3 years and at this time i was in the middle of my first run, so im in the room smells like mold i take a whiff of the colas and more of that same smell mold. My thought when i saw how drenched his pots were and the smell that he was overwatering and that was my first thought I dont know shit but i havent had that problem so be sure not to over water if you are using soil

search bot rot and see if thats what it is. nasty shit but keep your humidity down lower than 45-50%,add a fan to the room and you shouldnt have it anymore. also some strains are more prone to it (indicas with very dense buds) i seem to think that lsting and topping helps (less colas and more med sized buds)

Big batch of butter will ease your mold issue prob.
