Damaged leaves, please help

Hi Guys, should I trim this damaged leaves? Also, how can i prevent IT? There Is a Grass growing next to my Plant So Im thinking the pests may come from there ?

May Plant give energy to these leaves that are damaged badly And will not restore? Is it better to cut them off or just leave it like it Is? Thanks for any replies

Grass hoppers. If you trim the leafs there won't be anything left. You'll just be finishing what the bugs started.

We need to see more of the plant to know how to save it. Grass hoppers don't like DE. First thing I would do is apply it. You can dust it on, but that's a messy way. Better to mix it with water 4 tablespoons to a gallon of water and spray. Then I'd be pulling weeds even befgore the DE got dry.

Thanks you very much, here Are some more photos of this plant. Is there any other way than DE And pulling weeds around it to save it?

The size of the plants are going to have a lot to do with how you go about saving you plant. If the plant is as small as it looks in the picture you don't want to lose any mor green from it. Pot plants do not replace leafs. once they are gone they are gone.

What I would do now are the basic things to control bugs.
First clear the weeds and dust the ground with DE. Then spray the plant with BT. It is about worm season. After the BT drys spray the plant with soapy water to kill aphids. Then spray with the DE. If you spray to much DE the leafs will get a white residue. If that's the case just spray a mist of water until it drips off. The de is only a dust and will wash off. Yellow sticky traps will get most of the flying buds. Do these things and it will probably OK.
