I have a 42 watt cfl on one of my plants with one of those cne shaped reflectors.
That shit fell over and completely covered my little 2 week plant.
Most of the leaves are wrinkled and burnt crispy.
The bottom couple of leaves and stem are still ok.
What should I do?

post a pic but as for trauma care for a burnt plant its really pretty much on its own just keep the lights off it and cut away damaged plant material. I would start a second just in case this one doesn't pull through, PICTURES please we love the pictures

Ok here is the first pic, I trimmed off about 12 decent sized leaves, and maybe 6 tiny ones just coming out,

This second pic is of another plant of mine, it was super stunted at growth because it was my friends who was growing it in the kitchen with nothing but outside light.
My plant, the ruined one, was at least an inch taller, with a shitload more leaves.
Now all i have is a ruined on, a stunted one, and I have one germing that started the other day.. I loved my plant, now i hate mary jane

Here is the pic of the shitty stunted one.

yeah see cfls are the work of the devil!!! the same shit happened to me and turned one of my healthiest plants into a taco... i wouldnt give up on it yet though...fix your cfls. and hope for the best! p.s another reason they are small for their age is because you are giving them to much water!! when they are seedlings you want to barley water them at all.. get a spray bottle and use it to keep the top soil layer moist but not saturated...spray 2-3 times a day untill they grow their first set of true leaves. than you should water them as needed every 2-3 days the perlite turning brown is a good sign that you are watering to much!!!

Thanks for the input and positive outlook guys.
I hope my plant will make it, even if it has to take extra long, its the one I care about most.
It was small for its age, but not too bad I think, it was probably the size of 3 of the plant in the second picture.
Ill water less for my germing plant, noob mistake

It's ironic, the reason I was checking on them was because I brought my camera home and was going to do a photoshoot, and thats what I found, to my surprise.

Nice, Jake I didn't catch that but you're absolutely correct. That is no doubt the number one mistake of new growers. I did the same thing my first couple grows.

you should keep the lights on them 24/7 or 18/6 witch ever one you had them on befor... also since your using cfls make sure they are the "energy saver daylight bulbs" these bulbs have slightly more blue spectrum which is better for pre-veggitative growth .. soft white cfl bulbs dont have the right color spectrum for growing cannabis. keep in mind you wont see any growth for about a week for two reasons.. your soil is to saturated and your plant is probably in shock. so keep the lights on 24/7 dont water for 3-4 days (but keep the top moist) and make sure you have the right Cfls.
