Been wondering about oscillating fans.
is there glass on the light.
and is there only one opening for passive to suck air out of the room?
if the fan is sucking air from the light it should be blowing it threw.

Outside heat......L.A. heh.. upper nineties. I don't know what a cfm rating is. My corner fan is 20 inches and blowing strong. I do have the glass on my light, and the can fan is blowing through the light. Only on output, but I'm an apartment renter and if I put one more hole in the wall by wife will have my testicles....She kinda wants her deposite back...heh heh. -D-
I do not have all the info yet, but we can get started
First off I do not like that you ducted to the squirrel cage and from the squirrel cage. That is not necessary and just reduces efficiency of your fan.
The 12" circulation fan will circulate the air plenty which makes the directional duct from the squirrel fan unnecessary. That is as long as you create at least 7-12 " of space behind the fan so it can freely draw air otherwise the fan just spins without having much blow.
Next, you need to consider if you are going to use co2 at one point or not. The difference is that if yes, you will need to isolate the venting for your light from your grow space venting otherwise you suck all the co2 out and that gets expensive If you want to go this route let me know!
Going on the theory that you are not using co2, your carbon filter needs to move of the ground as high as possible (consider that hot air is on top) and
use as little bends as possible when you duct to your fan and light. The exhaust should remain as high as possible and ducted to the outside.
Your ac exhaust venting needs to be isolated and ducted to the outside BY ITSELF. The way you have it set up it does not efficiently remove the heat from the coil, which in turn will limit the ac unit.
I'm in a small space and have my carbon filter outside my grow space (give that a thought)

lol, I'm in OC, no worries mate, I go without ac no problem
That takes very efficient venting thou. Also I hope you have your lights on during night and not during day

Cfm (cubic feet per minute), is how much air your fan can move. You can find this info on the label (hopefully)
We want to make sure that your exhaust fan is rated about 1/3 stronger then your intake fan. If not, we can pressurize the room with resulting odor leaks
Be carefull with that 20" fan while the babie are that little, gentle air blowing over them is the key here
The reason that room that the closet is in is interesting to me is that your reservior sits in it. That means whatever your temps are, are also the temps for your nutes. Anything prolonged over 72 degrees is not good and will invite a host of root problems along with a less heat resistent canopy. (Last part I only heard)
Let me know what your room temps are (room, not grow space), we may need to move the ac there, but let''s see first
Also, I highly recommend a chiller, makes your grow a lot smoother and saves you a host of additives (that help with high heat stress, but cost a lot!)Are you a MM user in LA? I'm in OC, this would be a lot easier on the phone, but I'm a little scetchy still about my phone number, lol.

Why outdoor growing is for me !!! I put water in it and walk away , after checking for bugs , webs , damaged leaves , footprints , broken branches , hair , clothes fiber ... shit ill be here all frigging day !!! lol hope all goes well for ya bro !!! "Grow outdoors save Energy "

I had a similar situation where I thought bring air from the outside would be good. It wasn't. On a very hot day, the portable AC couldn't keep up. I was up to 95 as well. I cut out bringing the air from out in and just used the air within the room.
I actually have a hallway between two rooms that I have my portable AC unit in, exhausting to the outside.
I have one room that is using passive air in and a carbon filter and fan are putting the air into the hallway. The room doesn't go over 80F when lights are on and 70-75 during lights out.
The other bigger room 13'x6'x7' has a large vent for passive air in, no venting on a 1000w HPS with a carbon filter pushing air back into hallway.
This seems to work for me and hope you get your heat worked out.

I am under MM. Have been for a while, just got sick of buying medicin from the clinics......overpriced and inconsistant. That's why I've decided to procure my own. I just installed a second air conditioner in my room. Temp has already gone down to 81 with the light out, which i'm doing from 11-5.
