I agree with you budman, but truly, I do NOT have a green thumb... I couldn't even grow tomatoes for peat sake... those bean projects in school? Yea.... mine died, LOL.

Ok but seriously , I DID buy a basic marijuana growing book and I've been reading it through and through... I will continue to learn as much as i can!

UPDATE: SOME GOOD NEWS GUYS

Here they are, 24 hours later... See the difference? Now, does this NECESSARILY mean that I was underwatering??? I do not wanna be a noob and say, "hey i guess i should drown them every time they look like that"... Know what I mean?

I pulled a bit of the dead leaves off, I am STILL concerned, because some of the leaves have small brown spots on them, and have yellowed edges... This has been pretty constant for about a week. I am wondering if it was nutrient deficiency that I did not catch.

One last question then your comments appreciated: Are you sure I should put foxfarm in the water at regular strength? This last watering I put 1/2 strength in... I just don't want to nute burn them, flushing seems like an annoying task. Again, they are 29 days old, and really, I just thought of ONE more important question.

I gotta throw them into flowering soon, for time concerns. I had wanted to do it at the beginning of May, but I'm scared that I'll do that, switch to flowering nutes immediately, and kill the plant from nitrogen deficiency... How should i transition the plants (nutes wise) when I switch from 18/6 to 12/12 (hopefully tomorrow or day after)?

Thanks alot guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nitrogen Get Some Dark Energy Or Something With Alot Of Nitrogen And Cut Back On The Water A Bit Ur Nutients Are Fine Also Poke Some Holes In The Bottom So There Is Drainage And Make Sure Your Not Getting Water Pockets In Ur Soil . What Kind Of Light R U Using

hooooooow could i be overwatering them, i water twice a week, and i give them one cup of water... it doesn't even get the chance to leak out at the bottom.... am i really overwatering?! If that's too much water, then what isn't
Thats not alot of water man ur not overwatering.... i have to water my plants every 2-3 days.

just let them be for a day or 2 see what happends

the lower leafs are gone man u cant do anything about it. when u go down that road there is not coming back

Whats the Temp in there? Is it staying steady? I know you mentioned Opening the door to cool it down. I have had heat stress thats looks similar to that (well, the drooping did). The watering does cool off the plants and the envoirnment. I found that when my closet got over 84 degreas (which it never should) they would start to droop down like that. Just a thought. I do agree with the underwatering verdict though.

When u water man make sure u give them a good watering 10-15% of what u put in should come out the bottom

but they look great now man ill be watching if u need help with nute burn or anything check out my grow i have some great examples of nut burn....but they are all looking great now almost 3ft and almost 2 weeks in flowering.

Congrats Runagi!!!!

That has got to be a load off. Live and learn right? One thing I notice is the different heights of the plants. What about putting things under the plants so that they all are at the same canopy level so the short plants don't get shorted on light because you are worried about cooking the tall guys?

Relax a bit now!

Nice, they look great! Congratulations on the recovery. Could your timing factor allow for 1 more week of vegging? The reason i ask is because they could use one full dose of food before going to flower to get the nitrogen content up before flowering. Transitioning into the flower cycle takes about a week. A day or two after you give them their next veg feeding switch the lights to 12/12 but don't feed them theri flower food yet. Once they have gotten used to the flower light schedule (about 5 days on 12/12) then feed them 1/4 strength flower nutes. Increase the flower food dosage every feeding until they are eating the full recomended dose for flowering plants. For the first week 1/4 strenght, second week 1/2 strength, by the third week they should be taking in the full dose of flower food just fine.

Also during flower plants tend to double to triple in size so you will see rapid growth during the first 3 weeks or so then they will stop getting bigger and focus on bud production.

Well keep us posted so we can help you get your girls to their full potential, Kathy

In the pictures they do look a wee bit over watered. And you might wanna put some plastic down under those pots. Nutrient run off will stain your carpets.

those old yellow leaves are gunna die...like others have said u should water till u see drainage... i use foxfarm too. keep watering at 1/4 strength (seems to work well for me anyway)... also im not sure about this but it could be nute buildup cuz ur using foxfarm soil. i use supersoil cuz it seems to be more balanced or somthing...if i use a nutrient infused potting soil i always get nute problems...maybe try flushing ur girls real quick...that way if the problem is lack of water they will show great improvement, but if its nute lockup or overfeeding the flush will help get u back to even again...or "wipe their slates clean" so to speak. sounds frustrating tho man...u seem to be doing most everything right...good luck

Groan. That's all i can say. Looks like the new growth was nute burned. I flushed with un-nuted distilled water. Pics included. Let's see what they look like tomorrow *smacks face*

By the way, is distilled water usually slightly acidic? I keep getting an acidic reading of about 5.5 when i pH test it; this has been the case for different brands of distilled water. If that is the case, and I've been lowering the pH further, what symptoms do plants experience or show in over-acidic watering?

Ugh someone just shoot me already.

Distilled water can be any Ph in the range of 4.0 - 9.0. Too low ph or too high ph results in much the same condition - Nutrient Lockout. The plant is not able to use certain nutrients = big ass troubles. That is why ph matters. Look at the chart at whatever ph you want and you can see what your plant is not able to use.

Test your ph right before you feed your ladies, i.e. after all your nutes/SuperThrive/special sauce are added.

If those were my plants I would give them straight water at 6.5 ph for a while.

The underwatering was causing the drooping and then the nutes combined with the underwatering was probably causing the claw because there was too high of a nute to water ratio causing nute burn or lockout. I would flush and use RO water (make sure your ph levels are ok) and if the new growth looks ok start with 1/4 nutes then work your way up.

ive had the same problem and it worked the new growth came out fine. hope that helps:peace:

dead leaves don't just come back to life. Expect anything that got effected before to die off. If your new growth is looking good, that is all that matters. I'm dealing with a spider mite problem, I expect all current leaves to eventually die as new ones spring up in their place.
