Damping off, what did I do wrong?

So this is my first time growing indoors in my humid tropical weather. I had the plant in my room with a 14-watt led 18 hours and one day my seedling had damped off.

There was no air circulation in the room, never thought it would be a problem given the size of the seedling.

I was also feeding small dosis of organic fertilizers.

What screwed my plant? Organic fertilizers or no air circulation? I can't use the substrate anymore? It was brand new!

What sort of shitty dirt are you using? We’re there roots coming out of that jiffy pod?

Roots were not coming out. People have commented before about the dirt and I don't understand what they mean. It was given to me by an agricultural engineer whom worked with coffee plantations. His son was a mj user and he decided to create a kit for such purpose with supposedly great results and it was given to me to try. Supposedly, the soil contains all the right nutrients and then you just have to use the fertilizers that come ith the kit. The only thing I did different was to add organic fertilizers instead of the mineral ones that came with the kit. I just added them once in small dosis.

How often do u water? Likely its too much moisture, also depending on what nutes u were feeding a seedling for the 1st 2 weeks doesnt need anything but water. After that is when I start feeding, also I've had that happen when too much moisture is retained within the jiffy pods,

I was watering once a week, it was still moist down to an inch below surface, but, it was indoors without ventilation and right now the weather is humid, that's why I thought it could be related to damping off.

Dig her up and replant in clean top soil. No nutes. Also burry her a little deeper so she will stay standing. You can save her. Less of everything. Let her go dry before watering. As it helps to produce roots. Also you can leave the light on 24/7. No need to do a on off unless in flower.

I think it's too late now. It looks dead. Anyways, I will desinfect everything. Thanks everybody for your input. One question: I think the problem was damping off. This is the first time I add organic nutrients, is that a possible cause? Also, maybe I shouldn't sow anything during high humidity months, right? Right now it rains everyday and it is hot and humid.

You don't need nutrients for seedlings in soil but you do need aeration so a bag of perlite would increase your odds for future success

Hot and humid are good. It was the nutes and to much water. She shouldn’t have been getting nutes at all. Also wait to see roots before you transplant.
