cool thanks bro for the super fast reply.gonna see if i can rep you again. she is 6 inches high and 30 inches wide lmao ill take before and after pics and post on my thread and here also since I asked your advise. so those who dont see my thead can still see them and ill post pick in a few days also.

most do it when you have 4 set of real leaves. but ive seen a few do it at 3 and both worked good.

Wait 2. Topping isn't always the best option either... have you looked into supercropping? I have a plant just entered flowering with 8 tops not a single top taken off.(just lower stuff for clones.)
Still has an apex.

yes mine did tons of new tops when i laid her on her side. i then applied fim to 13 tops lmao gonna be huge but i want to fill a scrog with 1 plant and i am gonna order a 600 watt hps so flower her. i figure she will have 40-50 tops. here she is right now.

i have no experience to supercropping im on my 4th grow i mainly top an do ALOT of lst but dont both take just as long to sprout new tops? cause i imagine it takes like a week for a plant to recuperate after having snapped the stem but idk i have not done any supercroping

i havent noticed any slow down on my plant that i super cropped. it was too tall in flower so i did this and its acting like i did nothing but its getting a fat knuckle and its 20 inches shorter lol. I also have the bend tide down to keep it vertical. sativa's is strong on this one. she is done stretching now. and all energy is being used for buds.

Yeah, I would.. To me, that size is right around the size I top mine, and or start training them.. :mrgreen:

Here's a F1 strain I applied the SC (super crop) method to. I started as soon as she had 3 sets of true leaves.

Yes. The GC in the side by side I pollinated. The 1st I had started didn't make it.
