I think i do something like that too, fill up the 5 gallon every 3 or 4 days but always have the 1 gallons mixed and filled so I dont ever run out. I usually use a whole gallon of veg nutes every day. I think my water is only around 60 degrees, i pull them out so often they never get too cold. but Ill start checking it to make sure. glad to learn that before I kept giving cold ass water to everyone

I too hate the mess of soil & after reading the some of the advantages from your post (above) I really want to know what hempy buckets are & the positive & negative points of using them. Please can you briefly explain how it differs from other hydro systems & soil.

Its a passive hydro system, roots sit in the res and grab their water and nutes and the roots grow in the bucket anchoring themselves to the perlite. perlite holds a % of air and water that roots are happy with. you can check out http://www.fytogreen.com.au/products/fytocell/index.html also, thats what al b fuct is into now I think. looks better than perlite.

Thanks for the links, I asked Al B fuct what medium he was using months ago when he mentioned Fytocel I searched for it all over the place but soon came to realise it isnt available in U.K.
DAMN!sounds like ur down with Hempy. when conditions are favorable... i've deffinitely seen faster growth than i have ever seen with soil. and i really like not really having to worry about over-watering. sounds like you'll be in a perpetual sea-of-green in no time. with maybe even a bit extra... for an upgraded veg. setup.

hell yeah bro, I say I love hempy at least once a day now. Amazing growth rate. My next upgrade will be a nice trailer out in the middle of nowhere so i can have a setup like you. heres a quick update, I tried different pruning techniques to see the outcome so i can get my stuff on point how I want it. Took fan leaves off bigger ones, took lower branches off others, etc. I want as close to an oz as possible so gonna see what it takes to get that. The babies too. also some shots of the bunk nugs I just wasted money on........ this stuff just is barely green, and throws sparks when it smokes.
Better than cuttin off my girls early though. only in week 2 of 12 n 12 for the 2 in one bucket.

this is pissing me off. How many times do I have to upload the pics rollitup? 5 times it says I am missing a security thing, 2 successful ones and yet when I look, no pics. wtf? I hate robots, how many times have you used a self checkout at walmart just to have the machine ask you if you wanted to bag the item you just put in a bag? Machines will never take over cause I am gonna move so far away from all them that once they try Ill be sittin n waiting to kill them all.

everyone is happier now with the epsom salt, I use 3/4 tsp every gallon and seems to be the right amount to keep spots away. some random shots.
1.scrapin the bowl, tryin to maintain til some harvest action comes around here.
2. closer shot of the girls that get taken out every night.
3. shot of my favorite bud I have ever grown, first successful attempt at a single cola, like 4 or 5 weeks left, but has to be cut in 30 more days no matter what. Looks like I planned pretty well on timing.
4. next one to be pulled after the 2 in one, took off the fan leaves and lower buds became more predominate branches, may be what I stick with instead of single colas due to height restrictions, but well see after the weigh in.
5. my star of the room, super lemon haze after her first 12 hours of darkness. I took mad clones from her, trying to get half lemon, half skunk. already smelling like lemons.
6.shot of the room, new ones are taking off quickly now.

Bayarea, whats up bro, glad you checked it out. I love your strain choices n setup. I studied your work too so I got a lil help from you on this one also. The most important thing I have learned from all you (raider, DG, Bay, n others I cant remember) is that numbers play a big role in dank chronic. I've always vegged for 4-6 weeks and was unsastified with the results. nothing makes me happier than seeing one dense cola after another. I saw dude askin raiderman how his little seedlings turned into a bush so fast. its cause the plant knows its at the end of its life and goes all out for you making giant buds. Big plants know they can last a while and take their time. any seed I ever pop from now on will not get to veg for more than 3 weeks. (unless its outside, cause then they can do their natural thing which is amazing)

where is there a benefit to having a mother plant? I would have to throw away everything I trimmed off my flowering girls and need another light for the mom. I could see if I had a mom it would of been quicker taking all the cuttings in one day, but I took like 50 in a week as the plants grew, and still selected my favorite clones. they are too small to flower right away, but once you start a set they have 7-8 weeks before finishing, the clones can veg in that time cause I cant flower them anyways

nope, only god bud. maybe they are similar. I like the fruity stuff, favorite has always been mango, even though I dont have any. My last mango crop was taken by the man. Cant complain though cause I didnt get in trouble. It was only bc mango anyways, n since then i have heard garbage about BC, I dunno if it true or not though. I think the one I like a lot is actually papaya now. But I fell in love with mango caus ethe dude I bought from grew it n bred it with blueberry n cantaloupe a lot of times until he had his favorite, which was mine too. smelled and tasted sooo fruity, and was nice dense buds that had the highest thc I ever smoked in my life. I also like the OG strains that are known for bein fire, blueberry, ak47, super silver haze, ones that people talk about in songs n movies. Not into purp though, havent had the right strain i guess. I also trust high times. thats why i want blue dynamite, blue moonshine, diesel. lots of good ones. grape seems to be an achievable flavor through weed so grape god is probably fire n tasty too. I am like a conisour smoker though. I like smoking smooth tasty bud through some nice clean glass more than anything. I hate weed that doesnt taste good.

yea thats wat i got it for. its gold label seeds 130.00.i wanted gorilla grape on breedbay but ppl keep upping the bid.i got this instead,,i'm getting it to seed a branch of a fine purple grape color of a good 100% indica,,wont know taste till later,,i'm sure it'll do well.yea as far long veging goes,its never needed in indoor growin less your doin mothers.some strains though require some veging height to keep from getting to short of a plant.most groes should never take over 90 days,,100 most from seeds.these bluecheese of mine probably a 77 day gro total.
