Yo................ First off Everything looks GREAT....


Second... Smoke from cannabis or cigarettes clogs the stoma and can stress a plant out. Can cause leaf curl too..

It's not healthy for a plant to breath in smoke. lol........ Just a little FYI for ya. lol ;)

ok folks, i got one for yall. all three of my plants had big time hollow stems and stalks. one strain was given to me (kush), one strain i breed over the summer (pink) who's mom was almost a solid stalk, but the third strain i now have grown three times. all the seeds to this strain (special) came from a 1/2 oz bud. one time indoor and the outdoor run it just did have a hollow that was hard to blow through. this round indoor all three strains were hollow by half, in other words a 1/4" stem had a 1/8" hollow. no stretch (they were midgets) good feeding and watering, lots of light with cfl, hps and sunlight. no bugs either. yall tell me, is it something i did? i have read that the med grade strains are big time hollow and that it makes for better smoke. what do yall think?

That KASI has lots of lavender in it...very cool ;) the Starbud looks super potent..course they all look great :) sorry I'm late to the party, been trying to get on since earlier tonight but the fuckin server connection lost screen kept coming up on me. I just get so aggravated with it, life is too short than to deal with that shit :lol:

Its normal. that means they ate all the reserves in the stems. as they start to eat the insides you will notice a huge jump in water usage. when i harvested outside the ones with hollow stems was more potent. its like the ones that was more solid wasnt using all the reserve and buds was good just not as stinky or strong. i also noticed that when more bottom leaves was gone it seemed to be more hollow also if i remember right its been a few years since i grew outdoors. now you got me wondering about mine now lol. come to think of it my clone was not solid inside when i topped a plant. but im using AIS(air injected soil)

100% correct...


hollowness has nothing to do with potency Guys..

when super cropping all stems get super thick. But the plant is still as potent as it would be with a straight grow from seed with no training.

Health of the plant itself throughout its lifetime and NOT how the inside of the stems look will determine the quality of the final product.

what got me is out of three times for one of the strains and this is the only time i have had the hollow like this. the only thing different this time was i backed the fans down because of the cold weather. i have thought hard on this and that is the only factor that it could be. none of my outdoor plants from last summer was like that, or my other indoor grow either.
