It certainly does. I had to get away from all the people I associated with in my teens as that wasn't the life I wanted for myself anymore. Granted it has taken longer for me to get everything in order, but it is all paying off in the end and I didn't end up in prison, so that's good.Yup same here bro! Responsibilities are a mother fucker!
Im the same way, by myself most of the time. Just me, the old lady and the kids. Me and the old lady only smoke together after the kids are in bed for the night. During the day, we kinda take turns on who gets to smoke, so i end up puffin alone...
You get older, you and your friends take seperate paths in life, and I love my family to death, but you dont have the same kind of relationships with them as you did your buddies, and you may not necessarly realize it, but it does change who you are to a degree.
Actually decided to apply myself and do the thing I love which is computers and I've done that. I am actually about to start a new job in my field which is giving me around a 20k raise with paid heath insurance. I haven't even graduated yet.
But my fiancee has made me a better person as a whole and without her I don't know what I would be doing. It probably wouldn't be good though.
