It's better than dealing with the trash in SC. I was born there and moved away 4 1/2 years ago. Never knew the USA was so different than what I grew up with. Life is so much easier since I left there. The state really is in a position in which it isn't bettering itself or the people in it. Its a sad cycle that the residents are lost in. If only they knew what it was like in other places.......

I must say one thing... with all the drinking they do. they sure can keep a perfect schedule.
Get up at 6am.
go to the river.
catch some fish.
bar opens at noon.
go to the bar.
get drunk.
go back to the river.
catch some more fish.
get drunker.
drive home.
wake up and do it again. hahahahahhahahahahhahahha

Bright side.....all 10 of my seeds cracked open. 6 are in soil and 4 in hydro. Those in the soil are already a few inches tall but the hydros haven't broken ground yet. Going to finish my setup and get the girls into the bright lights. Hope y'all have a good one.

Well bro, when it comes to growing, your right. There is NO dumb question. I do know that there's a few that would bash the hell out of someone that just starting out and trying to learn how to grow. Which I'm not one of them. I truel like to help others out, if I can. And what you would want to do starting out is start your germination, in the paper towel, or just in a cup of water. Once the seed starts to open, it will have a taproot coming out. Fill your cup, or planter with your grow medium, being soil,hydrtron, or whichever, then make a hole and place the seedling into the hole "sprout down". Cover back up with your medium. Then water. Sit under a light that isn't to strong, such as a few CFL'S, once the seedling comes up, and starts to get a stalk, your going to have to reburry it. This makes there stalk a lot stronger, just so she doesn't fall over on you. I do the reburry maybe once or twice. I let them go in the styrofoam coffie cups for a week or two, then place them in either 1 gln or 3gln containers. Starting around week 1 or so of veg I start feeding them with a organic food, not a lot to start or it will burn them up! I start at right around 300 or so ppm's (which is parts per million) to a gln of water, then ph the water at 6.0-6.5. Which a lot of growers just use plain old tap water, but I ph mine. If you ever need anymore help bro, just hollar. I don't mind 1 bit to try & help you..
Thanks to you and Stew both. I read all that and it's just me, i need to slow down I guess the alst 100.00 batch that I killed were in Rapid Rooter with that pretty germination tray they come with. I screwed those up by forgetting them in aplace where the sun just blasted that tray and cooked them. ok will just lurk and keep reading and learning thank you both

I use those plugs.... I germ for 24 hours first in a wet paper towel inside a ziplock bag. then plug the seeds. cover the hole with a piece of the bottom of each plug. and within 2 days I get sprouts..
I use a 4' T12 shoplight for the tray/dome.
I put my cuttings in the same place too.
seeds are sprouting at the bottom there.... now they are all in Solo cups but that was yesterday before I planted them. 2 you can't see because at the time the seed shell was still on them.
