Well I would use Friday the 13th as an example but Dank said I can't, so i'll use others instead.
is it me or have directors gotten worse?
I mean lets take star wars. WTF I loved the first 3 star wars (except the ewoks), now that moron director takes a good series and to get a younger audience adds that moron Jar Jar. I mean WTF jar jar is a politician? Even these fool politicians in the US aren't as stupid as him. Well maybe Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin.
Next we have what could have been a pretty decent series, Transformers. But of course to not make them to scary to little kids. lets have these should be super intelligent robots bumble around tripping over everything in the kids yard. acting like a bunch of stupid kids who cant shut up when the fate of their race is at stake. Then they add those 2 extra stupid ones in Revenge of the fallen I think it was. The Jamaican accent small ones.
Signs is another, an alien race who can fly across the galaxy, cool huh? But these same aliens cant even open a door? and they try to take over a planet that is covered 70 percent or so (water) by something that not only can kill them, BUT falls from the sky?
I could go on but wife thinks i'm taking this to seriously. I love movies but this stuff aggravates me, I want to see a movie were I can watch it and not go "WTF that's BS!"
There are a few, but the crap out numbers the good so badly I can't even think of any right now.
Most of these movies have good graphics etc... but can we get a little believability, I mean, has every director out there flunked science?
