just an add on i dont know if it has anything to do with it, most likely not, but i have noticed i have ants living in the soil of my plant. i didn't think this would cause iny real harm, but this is my frist time growing, so does anyone know if that would be apart of the issue or if that will cause another big issue in the future? my plants almost done budding, so most of this is all future reference.

anyone with any significant help or response will recieve +rep. please help if you can.

...go to this site ( http://www.ganjaguerrilla.net/ ) ...view pH problems.

I'll guess that your growing in soil. You need to give your ladies slightly acidic waterings 6.3-6.8
... add rapid release dolomite lime as a top dressing, 1tbls per gallon of soil....water in as normal.

EDIT: The leaves that are damaged will not recover.

still cant see the aphids but i started using some formula to get rid of them. hopefully it works and doesnt ruin my crop.

take advice from me- if you start to see ants at the base of your plants, get rid of them. if not, you might soon be dealing with an infestation of aphids =(

The ants have food. If it is not a pest problem (I think it is) it could be PH blocking Calcium is my guess because of the spotting. Can we get some close ups of the leave bottoms? Need a real clean sharp shot that can be magnified.

the leaves i was taking pictures of already wilted away in the sun. and my camera is out of battery now =(

i just went outside to check the leaves on the plant. it is a real healthy color on the bottom of the leaves, and i dont see any bugs, or anything else for that matter under the leaves. and a closer look at the brown spots themselves, i am like 95% sure its being eaten by something, especially because some of the brown spots have holes in the middle. it honestly looks like its been chomped on rather than it being something to do with the Ph level.

My biggest issue is I cannot see any aphids!!!! I thought i found one but i dont think it was, based on the color and shape of it.

Does anyone know if it would be easy to spot aphids or any other signs that i will know its aphids, other than the brown spotting on the leaves with holes in the middle and the ants clustered at the bottom of the plant??????

dtRepeat, I was reading that aphids Sh*t out honeydew, which will attract ants. The ants will actually farm the aphids for food, so if you see ants, you're more than likely going to have aphids. Aphids are pretty small, it might be a little difficult to see them with the naked eye, so I would use a magnifying glass, or similar. Look for them under leaves, huddled around branch nodes, and growing tips. If you're spraying anything on them for aphids, make sure it also controls ants. Hope that helps. ***From Jorge Cervantes' Grow Bible

You can use soap solution like Safer Insecticidal Soap to get rid of most aphid problems.

Aphids are visible to the naked eye. You can see them as clearly as ants. Are you still having this issue? Can you update the thread?

I'm thinking YOU don't have aphids. They are very easy to see, and they leave a sticky mess where ever they are, all very obvious.
I would suggest you go back and reread Trichlone's post, he is taking you in the right direction.
Those leaves were definitely a pH/nute problem. Good luck & good grow.......BB
