DARK DEVIL auto (sweet seeds)

I felt obligated to give this strain a review after looking up reviews of this strain while i am growing it. Most of the information i have found including the reviews here are very inaccurate. Perhaps the problem lies with the source of the seeds or maybe even the growers.

Im currently running 6 of these ladies in 5 Gallon buckets under 2 600w Hps air cooled hoods. I ran a 600w MH on the until week 3 of veg. Once they reached around a foot tall they stretched out quite a bit which seemed bad at first, but turned out to be great as the buds quickly filled the gaps. ALL 6 of my plants turned almost magenta about 1.5 weeks into flower and continue to produce nothing but purple buds. You literally have to strain in order to see any green on these buds at all.

As far as the yeild of this plant goes, overall it is great!!! I only had 1 of the 6 dwarf on me like you would expect an auto to do. The other 5 however have exploded with extremly dense buds. The largest cola as of right now probably wieghs around 30g itself. Thats not to mention the amazing side bud action that is going on. Even the buds at the very first internode from the bottom are fat and clustered. Not a single popcorn bud on them.

Keep in mind that i only gave these plants 1...thats right 1 dose of AN sensi bloom PH perfect formula (2 part formula) the rest was just a touch of half strength veg nutes about 2 weeks in. These plant have surpassed my expectations by far. And thats coming from someone who has grow think different with the exact same setup. The overall smell of these plants is very similar to a cheese or haze, with a hint of fruit. As of right now im at day 70 from seed and tricomes are on the milky side but with few amber as of right now. I will add picks of the buds once they come off. The pics in the dark are the most recent, about 10 days from harvest.

There small for 5 gallon bucket under 600w i can do better with only 7l pot i don't really use nute with autoflower i used biobizz promix with vermicompost and guano and only use voodoo juice and piranha for watering in grow and when they start to flow i top dress with more vermicompost and guano an handful each and water with bud candy with twelve plant in 7l pot and in my dr120 under 600w i can easily break the g/w with dark devil they finish around 1.40, 1.60m the secret in what food already in your soil because they grow fast you have to be sure they have all the food they can take before going to flower but where i was most impress by dark devil was in dwc i had planning 6 in 5gallon bucket i had to take 2 out i use ghe 3 part at 7/7/7 ratio from the 2 week of grow because one friend note that when in hydro with this ratio it delay her grow time about 1 or 2 week so about 4 to 5 weeks grow instead of 3 weeks normally with 4 d.d. ive break the g/w 710g in total and im sure they could have give more if they was more space for them understand they was in a dr120 wich is 1.20m x 1.20m x 1.80m

Ok well Mr. i can do better, its nice that you feel you can do better. Keep in mind that these pictures are from about 30 days ago, besides the ones of the side buds that were taken in the dark. i will be putting up a few more pics in the next couple weeks to give the full report of the finished bud, along with a smoke report. But thanks for taking my very first review and turning it into an "I can do better thread". Gives me great hope for this forum.

Looks like you have a nice space for growing. Why grow auto's? Also, if you havn't smoked it yet how can you say the reviews you have read are unfair? The plants look nice and healthy though. Maybe share an honest opinion after you have smoked it.

hold on your horse pals is not a "i can do better than you" it was just advice to make better next time people alwaysthink autoflo can be done like photoperiod strain i was just giving you advice for YOU TO DO IT BETTER!!!!! sorry if you was thinking i was making fun of you that was not my intention i apologize but when you put a review it can be on any site you want if someone see something wrong he will tell you!!!!!! try my method you will be surprised

i have some question for you
have you transplant them?
have you give them some myco or roots solution?

because the most important phase for autoflower are they grow period the best care they had in grow the better the yields

@VirtualHerd i've done them a couple of time and yes most of the review don't do them justice it came from people thinking autoflower can be grown like a photoperiod strain

also with most of the second and third gen of autoflower you can easily beat the g/w
that not something all photoperiod strain can do unless given a long grow period if youd find someone able to beat the g/w with photoperiod strain and only 3weeks grow and taken down after 80 days i would be really surprised because i still haven't see that

Nice job, I never did get a good yield from autos but they look really nice .

@madininagyal First off i want to say sorry for coming at you like that. I just felt weird that you first sentence included "i can do better" it just rubbed me the wrong way is all. But thats in the past and now with a clear head i can answer a few of your questions hopefully.

@VirtualHerd The reason i am growing autos is because when i ordered my beans i selected these autos and some think different, as well as about 7 other strains. While i veg out the photo strains i threw 6 dark devils and a blue kush auto in the veg as well. Which usually helps jump start my grow while getting a good long veg time. As far as the reason i am reviewing this strain so early is because i couldn't find any grow journals and reviews that would benefit anybody. I figured it was too late to start a journal so i started this thread.

Basically this grow is about as simple as it gets. I start the germinated seeds directly in the 5gallon buckets. Which the soil was giving some Micro brew and kangaroots to wet the soil the first run. Since than they were fed some GH basic nutes during veg. And a shot of sensi bloom a week into flower. The rest of the time it was only RO water with a 6.5ph. The soil i use is just basic pro-mix with no additives.

Here are a few pics of what they look like at right now. roughly day 75 im probably gonna take a tester within the next 48hours.
