Dont listen to the guy telling you to flush or that the plants overfed. That’s looking to be a phosphorus issue to me. When did it start? Has the soil been soggy lately or colder nights? Obviously the ph is an issue and is going to give you uptake issues but if this just started than id say a combination of ph and something else has pushed a phosphorus deficiency into full throttle. I’ve only saw it that bad on young plants that stayed wet for an extended period. Your leaves aren’t droopy though and they look to still want to pray so not moisture. That ph is going to end up being what you need to fix. You say optimal levels of phosphorus and magnesium are present so...hopefully you’re just making that up and can feed to correct this. Lol. Plants starving worse than an Ethiopian
Ya dont listen to that guy.

Your advice is way off. For one, my soil conditions are different than the OP, and your advice to him with a 7.2 ph is to increase the ph with lime? Ha ha. I added a picture to show he is not the only one dealing with this issue. This is a more likely attributed to a localized issue brought on by transmission via an insect, rather than any systemic issue. Hence, the 1 branch, not the whole plant showing deficiency....

Then dont listen to Mich State U either they dont know how to test soil.
Just try the flush, quit feeding and see if white hairs start showing again withoit curling and dying. Everyone likes to push these plants to the max and that can lead into lockout. How difficult can it be to test my advise on a single plant. I have had this problem to the point of what looked like total loss. Within two days of flushing noticeable improvement was seen. I do not claim to be expert but i saved my crop.
