dark purple tip growth on one branch.. some fungus? cold temp? pics

One branch of my Vanilla Kush clone has dark purple growth at the tips. im on the east coast and it has been hot and humid for the past couple weeks where i am. was a little cooler the other night, maybe got into low 60's and windy. but other than that its been 80's and 90's and humid as hell! the color is only on one branch and it doesnt seem to be rotting or soft or anything. there are a couple pictures of the branch growth tips as well as a couple of healthy normal branches. i dont think it is a nutrient problem since it is only one branch and i have been feeding.

please let me know if u know what it is, i dont want it to spread if it is something harmful

Its cool my Acapulco Gold, Iced Grapefruit, and GDP tips did this when my nights would hit 65 and below outdoors. Nothing to worry about bro your good.

so this coloring has spread to another branch. the guy i got the clone from says sae thing is happenin to his plants. and it happened last summer as well.. he said he thinks its his water, but it is really weird black purple growth

Phosphorus is less available in cooler temps. That's why you have the color. It's cool though. Ppl like purple in their buds. It doesn't hurt anything. You don't need to fix it cuz its not problematic.

Hmm.. that is weird. I'm on the east coast too and I know how hot/humid its been at least around me so I'd have a hard time believing that purple is due to colder temps. Vanilla Kush is not a purple strain and I don't know why the phenotype would just show purple. But I had a problem earlier with the undersides of my white widow max leaves being purple but later resolved itself. I'd say that if the new growth looks healthy otherwise, I wouldn't worry... it might just grow out.
