Dark spots on seedling

I hope I'm just over-reacting....

Noticed a couple dark spots on my girls first leaves. She's about 11 days old at this point. I circled where the dark spots are. I've only given her an extremely weak (i'm talking 1-2 drops in 500ml of water) dose of Roots Excelurator so far. Just happened to notice these spots today.

My avg humidity ranges from 20-40%

Temperature ranges from 66Fduring lights out, to 77F-80F with lights on depending on the ambient temperature.

Is this something I need to worry about? Or am I being a worry-wort?

Not sure it looks concerning, throw up some more pics in a week.

being a worry worte mainly . looks like the dots i got on my seedlings from to much nutes. i find that my seedlings dont get burnt leaves they get spotted.

maybe it was that roots stuff you used. but in anycase really isint that bad and new growth is good i wouldnt worry

Hmmm....its gotten worse. Looks like necrosis, there is now a small brown spot too. New growth is unaffected. I've only been giving her plain water the last few days and thats all she will get for a while in case it was the Roots Excelurator. Her sister (a different strain) isn't showing any adverse affects from the Roots Excelurator though...

Could it be something else?

On a hunch, I cut open her solo cup, and she had crazy root growth. Would the first leaves start curling up a bit, and have some necrosis if she was root bound?

I went ahead and transplanted her to a 2gallon smart pot (only thing I had on hand). I hope she pulls through....

It sounds like you are pretty heavy on the water. This seedling should only have had a few light watering's by now so the soil doesn't stay too wet restricting the amount of oxygen getting to the roots.

Let it dry.

Brown patches on an overwatered seedling will clear up if it's early enough.

I didn't give all of the 500ml at once....it was spread out over a week.

I'm not using soil either, its coco/perlite so I think the roots are getting plenty of oxygen. There was more roots than I was expecting that's for sure.

Thanks for the advice, I wasn't planning on giving her anything more after what I just did tonight...see if she bounces back first....

Well if it's coco then over-watering is definitely out of the question.

That's what I figured, I thought it was impossible to over water coco....but I'm still a newb, so I thought maybe I had it wrong.

Here's a bit more info I forgot. It's technically CocoNot in the cup. It's all the local hydro store had at the time I planted them. I wasn't able to secure some more bricks until after I planted the seedlings. Since planting I did notice 1 flying insect once...but I didn't give it much thought. When I transplanted to the smart pot with real coco from a brick, as I was gently breaking up the CocoNot around the roots, I noticed another lil baby insect fly away... do you think that could've been a problem?
