no epsom salt in your recipe at all?
ive been running jacks, CaNO3, epsom, and mkp for a couple cycles now, rdwc
my girls freaked out when i tried running 3 g/gal jacks, 2 g/gal CaNO3 with no epsom for the transition
these in rdwc too?

Yeah they are in rdwc. 90gal system for 4 plants. So maybe that's why they don't freak out.

I've used Epsom before. They don't miss it.

I do 2.7g/gal mix and 1.8g/gal CaNO3 in concentrate designed to be mixed 1oz/gal. But I never do 1oz/gal so it's a little less.

In flower right now I'm doing 2.7g/gal mix 1.2g/gal CaNO3 and 0.25g/gal K2SO4 for terp production. I've cut the MKP out now that I'm week 5.

This gets me like 90ppm N and 200ppm K. But I don't do full 1oz/gal so a little less

how long did those veg for?
5-6 weeks about. They got way too tall. I had to trim them back a bunch. Would have been touching the ceiling.

This system they grow fast

Lost 2 oz to botrytis on the dense bud phenotype. Still will pull over 0.5#.

Pulled 1.4# off the (3) whispier foxtailing phenotype.

All things considered not a bad harvest. A tad over 2# for a 1.15gpw average.

Going to order a 10pk of seeds and shoot for 1.5gpw+ with a better scrog (this grow the screens got put on when they were already 4ft tall) and putting the lights closer.

The CMH pulled over 1.5gpw but that's only cause it had the chunky variety which lended itself to botrytis under it.

This is a bud off the whispier foxtailed pheno.

I had to do an emergency chop Monday of the chunky variety about 12 days too early after finding mold

How you finding scrog with rdwc?

I found it to be a pain in the ass with regards to getting at the back pots under a net.. only did one run in scrog and gone back to just topping and kinda lolipoping..

I use 2 x 600w hps in flower and with only 4 plants they share 1 600w between 2 plants.. best result was 10oz dry per plant on a blueberry cheesecake from female seeds.. so this is alway my aim 10 per plant..

Your buds look lovely mate really frosty and tasty looking.. yummy

Thanks man

I did a half ass scrog. Put the screen on when they were 4 ft. plants already.

In regards to accessing them my room is 10ft wide so I have access on all 4 sides. Each plant is only 2x2 so I just reach. Then hop over to the other side and reach

Arrrh the luxury of space hahaha... I'm tent bound at the min 2m x 1.2m x 2m not a lot of space in the new house so had to downsize even tried going back to soil/coco growing but just found it boring as hell..I love my daily checks in dwc or rdwc and weekly water changes..

I found when you have the net lower and you need to get into a pot or tote and the plants are woven through the net it just became a nightmare to deal with but again i couldn't get to all sides and had to basically tunnel to them in between pots and at 16 stone this wasn't making me happy hahaha.

Will be nice to see how you go on with the net lower.. All the best pal.

This is why I only do 4 ft. wide scrog and train my plants to fill more length wise.

I can reach 2 ft over to train then walk around to the other side and reach 2ft over.

I'll take a picture when I'm ready. Currently I just started some seeds and they are slow going right now. They are also different strains so not sure I'll be able to do them in a rdwc.

With all that space comes a lot of wasted space with lights, but I hate feeling cramped.

I'm a little under 17 stone so I know what it's like to be cramped. Not fun.

Not fun at all..ha look forward to the pics.. I have followed you as we both run rdwc so note swapping may be in order.,..

Wish i could get round the back of mine.. I have cut numbers from 6 to 4 due to space restrictions but still using the same lights.. 2 x 600w.. was looking at changing to de 1000w but wont be able to control that much heat in such a small space.. i'm at my limit now and running 10inch ducting.

Can i just ask do you run a dehumidifier at all in flower? if so when and what settings do you go for? 45%? if not whats your aim for humidity during mid to late flower?

Booooom..

I run a dehumidifier and a humidifier depending on time of year.

I keep my flower room at 50-60% early to mid flower and no higher than 50% mid to late flower.

Hell I still got bud rot at 50% this last grow. Buds were so large.

I followed you as well.

So it appears both strains I have are similar 100% indicas with an 8 week flowering time. So I will be back to my rdwc. Going to move them to bubble buckets in a week for a 3 week veg to build up roots and then I'll bring them to the rdwc for another week before I flip them.

Check back in a month and things should be rocking and rolling
