Das Bud Meisters Incredible Bulk/Master Kush Grow (400W HPS)

Day 38, quick update as I've gone home for the holidays so I've got a friend looking after my girls (under very strict instructions lol) for a week or two! Can't believe how well the MK#3 reacted to super cropping, proper little bush on her now!

Looking to to be flowering around day 60 to give a nice 2 months veg, no idea what that'll yield but hopefully it should be alright! Hoping to get at least an oz of each plant!

Managed to get a pic off my friend who's been looking after my girls,

he said a stem snapped so he's taped it up but other than that they seem to be doing nice except for a few yellow fan leaves on the bottom think I might have trimmed them by now anyway!

Sooo, I've just got back to my house and checked the girls... I cant believe how much they've grown in two weeks! Maybe its because I haven't seen them haha. The yellowing on the leaves is a bit worse than I thought it would be but it's not too bad! Looks like could be either a magnesium deficiency or a swing in ph (could also be a N deficiency but i'm not sure how with the nutes i'm running!). I've ordered some calmag which should arrive by the end of the week so hopefully that'll solve the problem!

Also ordered sensi bloom A+B and the AN Hobbyist bundle (voodoo juice, big bud, b52, overdrive) which I think I might add to with some of the expert/pro bundle nutes midway through flowering to give a little boost!

No pictures today I'm afraid as Ive just super-cropped the incredible bulk, Holy grail and one of the MK plants so they're not looking the best (will update tomorrow once they've had some recovery time!). As for the broken stem it turns out it was one of the main colas of one of the MK plants I've had to perform some pretty major surgery which involved taking the whole branch off and taping it back in place- can anyone tell me if this will work??

As always, any help/advice will be gratefully received!

Day 62 update (wow lol)

All Girls have been showing preflowers for at least a week now, can't wait for the rest of my nutes to show up- I'm building a nice little collection haha!

Hope this long veg time is worth it, they're all looking healthy again since I got back off holiday so looks like the calmag has worked!

Day 0 of flower,

The girls are finally getting their first 12 hour sleep! First feed with 50:50 bloom:veg nutes today, will use all bloom next time, thinking of using the veg feed as well as bloom on weeks 4 and 7 of veg as I hear it helps nitrogen levels? Here's some pictures...

May want to keep the 400 at a good distance to avoid burning at seedling time, i;ve burned em with too close to them hid's..good looking keep it up

Day 7 flowering

All the girls are looking very healthy haven't seen much stretch and I'm actually hoping for a bit just to fill out my grow tent! The two Kush plants have started flowering slower than the other two but all are showing good pistil development!

Possible nanner on one of the MK plants can anyone confirm? There's pistils on the higher up nodes so could be a hemie would love a second opinion! Hopefully it's just a calyx forming and I'm just being paranoid but I'll deffo keep an eye on it! (sorry for poor quality photo I couldnt get my phone to focus on something so small!

It's hard to tell from the pic but it does look like it could be early signs of a nanner. Keep a close eye on her and inspect her alllll over each time. Hope all turns out well.

Thanks man yeah I'll be sure to keep a real close eye on her/him! How late can I leave it before I need to be killing her/him off??

Well there's a couple ways to go about that.
If in the next couple days it ends up throwing nanners, you could just kill that plant.
Or if your just going for personal use and don't mind risking s few seeds you could pick the nanners off everyday. You won't get them all so you will almost be guaranteed to get a few seeds.
Don't want any seeds? Unfortunately I'd throw her out if she shows nanners.

Oh and if you decide to keep her, and end up getting those few seeds, I wouldn't use them as they will have more of a tendency to be hermies as well.

Thanks for the advice dude! Think i'm gonna give it a week or two before deciding because it could just the calyxes getting bigger (I'm only one week into flowering) but if not i'll probably have to chuck her out, either that or finish her off in a separate room under my 105w cfl and make oil/hash

Update on the potential herm:

Starting to look like MK has gone hermie on me, so annoying finding out now after such a long veg time!



Sorry if the pictures are again incredibly crappy quality it's so hard to focus my phone on something so small, anyway, I've cut all the balls off I could see (I'm 90% sure I got them all but will check again tonight) then I'm gonna observe her VERY closely to see if I get anything new in the next few days

Can anyone tell me if I cut them off this early in flower they'll be certain to come back?

Regarding the drooping at night, just before lights out, and then standing up again in the morning - I've only grown white widow so I can't guarantee this applies to every strain, but I've noticed the same thing in my non-smokable plants as well (herbs + veggies). I have webcams in my grow tent that snap pics every hour, so I get a real nice time lapse of the grow. Every day a couple hours before lights off they always drop their leaves, in anticipation of not needing them soon. In the morning they know when the light will be on, and are ready accordingly. Watch some YouTube videos of grow timelapses and you'll see lots of plants "bloom" every morning and close up just before night to conserve heat and energy. It's really cool stuff to watch. Or better yet, set up a webcam on a timer and timelapse your own grow! You'll also notice that when you switch light schedules, it takes them a few days to figure it all out again. Cheers!

Very interesting thanks man! I'll have to check out some of these time lapses I love that kinda shit haha, makes perfect sense they know roughly when the lights are about to go on/off as well

Flowering day 10 update:

Took the girls out to clean up my tent so thought I'd take some photos for y'all, they're all starting to look really bushy and I need to do some defoliation but from what I've read I'm better off waiting till a few weeks into flower

Regarding the herm there's been no new nanner growth at all and I had a really thorough check! I think I'm gonna flower her for a few weeks and see where I stand as she'll have some trichomes on her then and a good friend of mine said he can make me some BHO out of what I get

shwwweeet! I just chopped a few colas of my MK,the nugs are hard as bricks on one pheno and the other are fluffy and foxtailing like crazy, I think it may be a flop , it will be impossible to trim ,the foxtails are that bad, i make a mean bho though and I love me some live resin so im not too disappointed, its still dank an frosty

Nice man, let me know how the smoke is haha I cant wait to try mine! Looks like I got a shitty pheno too, barely any change since I made the switch whereas the others are starting to blow up! Think it could be nutrient related though
