I don't know the PPM, no meter
PH after nutes is around 6.0, then I add a little baking soda to get it up to 6.5
The soil is Nurseys Master Organic Potting Soil
Have not flushed
The first thing you need to do is invest in a Combo meter PH and PPM! This will be the number 1 tool to be SUCCSSEFUL. Second thing is get some PH up and down. I need some pictures to help you better. In my opion it still sounds like a N DEF

When it happens that fast your roots died. they sufficated , I garentee you that if you pull the plant and look at the roots they are all Brown and soft. should be white and ferm heathy looking. now what caused it???
This has to be the Dumbest thing i have ever read.

I was actually thinking that the roots may have been the issue!
A day or two before the plant started dying off I had added a thick layer of aquarium stones to cover the soil, I had read it was good for combating fungus gnats but once the plants started dying off I removed all the stones... but they are still dying now even with the stones removed!

Though I do find it strange that when I water, it takes under 1 liter of water to run through the bottom of 5 gallon Smart Pots, is this normal?

@AZTHCFARMER think I should feed them some Hygrozyme next watering? It's supposed to be good for recovering roots

I seriously doubt its a straight root problem, if that were the case, the entire plant would have folded not just the lower sections. For one I would feed your plants, a good healthy dose, giv efull feed of bloom with some additional veg nutes, rason for the veg nutes is to boos tup nitrogen in the plant. It is a common thing for lower leaves to die off if they are not collecting enough light, but solid nutes are needed. Wont hurt to add a little epsom salt for magnesium will be an up. If you have anything like Dynagro Protekt or any silcate nute normally a 0-0-3 or like additive, would be a good thing to toss that in the mix.

Dont over nute them but make sure its a nice healthy feed, give them 2 days of feed then 1 day water.

Thanks for the suggestions @reverof. I watered last night with some veg nutes, gotta make a trip to the store to pick up some flower nutes though (any suggestions?)
As for the epsom salt, I've heard several people on this forum mention it but I have also read that sodium can cause nute lockout of the plants, so whats up?

epson salt from the store is fine. But if you are going to the shop why not just pick up a bottle of cal/mag? Hygrozyme is a good product. But dont let the root thing bother you that guy has not clue what he is talking about. I also dont think the stones are the issue. Try and post some pictures so we can help better. To me it seems like you are getting bunch of educated guesses at best rite now.

Yeah, I'm goin to the hydrostore today. Cal/Mag you say eh? I'm going to pick up some flower nutes, so I guess I'll get that as well.
Will have pics later on... in about 3hrs!

I wish this theory of cutting nitrogen at flowering would just GO AWAY... There would be alot less problems during flowering if these SO CALLED experts at the food companies would quit telling people to cut N at flowering...
I agree with the nute companies. Cut the levels of N in flower.

Gently and as carefully as possible pull the plant and look at the roots. If they are brown, soft and a little slimy you got problems. If they are white, firm and healthy looking you have ruled that out.
When a healthy plane goes down that fast I look and check roots first.

@Mrfootball420 Is that true? A quickly draining 5 Gallon Smart Pot which can barely handle 1 L of water without leaking most of it out on the ground means ROOTBOUND? Thanks...!

Would a plant that is rootbound be exhibiting the same symptoms? Bottom leafs wilting, yellowing, and dying? THANKS!

sure does, but you can air-ate the soil by sticking a pointed dowel down into the soil and poking holes down as far as you can without damaging and roots. then when you water the water actually gets down inside the root mass instead of just running out the sides. it will definitely help.
