Day 20 and they are this small...?

Why is it taking so long for these to grow?

Started these by seeds, and they aren't growing all that fast like usual. They are damn healthy just don't know why they are taking so long to grow

what kind of light as you using

also clear cups = big no no

roots like dark , dark is what roots need to form .
youre exposing light to them by using clear ups

They are getting too stretchy also . Transplant these into a proper. container .
Once you do that you can bury most of those stretched stems to initiate more rooting.

What is that medium ( soil ) you are using ? It looks a little compacted. ( perlite ? )

You just gave it major surgery for that stage. Let it rest recover. Be all good it will explode in 7-10 days

Yes, I did notice the stretching and was going to do something about it so I put the plants on a cardboard box so they were closer to the lights till I put them in new pots and did what you said and buried the stretched stems. And The neighbour Gave me the soil *hes also a weed grower* so I'm not sure what the soil is... He mixed it and said its balanced perlite turf and worm meal. I don't know much about this soil but it's decent. I also water with a seaweed extract mixed with R.O water
