It's all looking pretty good potberto but it seems that your girls want more That is without a shadow of a doubt a Nitrogen problem i'd say give it a double does of whatever complete fertilizer you are using and wait about 5 days and check out your NEW growth...the old growth won't change back to its color so if they are pretty yellow and if you can give them a little tug and they come off get rid of all those dead leaves....

Your plant thinks its reaching the end of it's cycle(22 days would be a record but i think it needs a lot more) so its using up as much of its nutrients that it has stored in its leaves to try to boost resin production...just try and give her what she wants more N

those are exactly where they should be. those look fucking awsome. 22 days into flower if you didnt have yellowing then youd have a problem. you want the plant to use up all its n in flower. nitrogen too much of it at that stage will cause the plant to grow more leafs and foliage. thats opposite of what you want.

YOU ABSOLUTLY DO NOT WANT TO BRING THOSE BACK TO GREEN THEY ARE PERFECT. IF ANYTHING YOU WANT A FLOWERING NUTE NOT A VEG NUTE WHICH IS GONNA BE HIGH IN N. A GREAT NUTE FOR THAT STAGE IN THE GAME IS FOX FARM TIGER BLOOM. IF YOU GIVE THOSE ENOUGH TO BRING EM BACK TO DARK GREEN IT WONT BE WHAT THE PLANT IS LOOKING FOR UNLESS YOU PLAN ON STARTING UP THE VEG AGAIN...
WONDERFUL JOB MAN.

Thanks for the good help guys.. Then I think I've done what I can.. I did get some Cal-mag today, but I want to let the pot dry completely before giving them any more liquids. I just checked and they're getting there, but I think need another day or two to really get dry. Then will give another feeding of nutes, cal-mag, molasses, and instant karma.. That oughtta do it?!!

Anyways, I'll just keep on keep'in on and see what happens. :)
Be careful using cal-mag and molasses at the same time. As molasses has about the same elements as cal-mag.

your leaves are suppose to turn yellow in some strains but only when your flowering . all the plant is doing is sucking up alll the nutrients out of those fan leaves in order to make big fat sticky buds, besides those fan leaves have done there job already SO WHAT I THINK IS YOUR PLANT IS DOING EXACTLY WHAT IT IS SUPPOSE TO DO ( FLOWER THEN DIE)

leaves that are affected may stay yellow.,.,but in a couple days to a week the problem will blow over u need sum (n) and cal-mag and ure off

it's normal for a plant's leaves to curl and/or turn yellow when budding. the buds are just pulling out all of the nutrients out of em.. so don't fret to much

I agree with Johndoe and jordisgarden. You dont give N to a flowering MJ plant. Up the P and K. Adding some molasses will add a little bit of K as well as feed the micro-organisms that break down the organic matter in the soil into base elements that the plant can use. Your buds look fine though so there's no major problems really.
One other thing....you really dont want to fertilize a DRY container plant. If the medium is really dry pour some plain water in first, wait a little while for the moisture to even out, and THEN pour your fertilized water in. Otherwise the fertilizer could shock the roots. Again this is for a DRY container plant. < this is according to Ed. Rosenthal so I think its solid advise. Good luck.

i know my newbie status will scare away any advice i can offer BUT.....that is 100% without a doubt a lack of nitrogen....i got 4 words for you....FOX FARM GROW BIG.they should call it ,make my plants green again,by the way PH problems would come with brown spotting on the leaves...hope that helps.

You have GH 3 part you should atleast be feeding it 8ml of micro and 16ml of bloom per gallon, your plants will appreciate it.

First thing --- ditch the whole "No nitrogen during flowering" paradigm!!! I'm new to indoor Ganja growing, but I've been farming way longer than most here have been in existence (I guess I'm telling on myself, lol). Most flowering/blooming plant foods are WAY deficient in nitrogen. Yes, the leaves should turn yellow and die as the plant reaches the end of it's flowering phase --- but most people shift to "flowering" nutes WAY too early!! The key to maximizing bud growth is in having good foliage growth. Good healthy leaves = maximimum sized buds!! I'm NOT saying to go fert your girls with some 24% N food, but they NEED nitrogen at that point in flowering, and most blooming/flowering plant nutes just don't have enough. Someone mentioned FF Grow Big --- good stuff!!! I HIGHLY recommend you try skipping your normal flowering nutes for a few waterings and occassionally give them some veg nutes --- you'll be pleasantly surprised. Don't give them just veg nutes, but say every 4th or 5th watering sub them in instead of the typical "Big Bud", etc flowering nutes. I'm betting your problem will go away!

Good luck with the rest of your grow dude!!!!

I'll buy that. But TOO much N in flower can result in a micro nutrient deficiency. I do use FF GB in flower but I use the hydro formula (3-2-6) in soil, along with happy frog bat guano (0-5-0), for a (3-7-6) ratio.

Yes you need nitrogen in flowering, mainly the beginning then its cut out later and unless it finishes in 45 days it shouldnt be yellowing at 22. A 1-2-3 is perfect for flowering despite what most will say

Just a little update. Repotted the Northern and Frisian into 5gl buckets yesterday. Was very low stress, cut the old pots off of them, and slid them right into the bucket with the new soil. The root structures on both looked great, bright white, smelled fresh... Anyways, they both seem to be doing good. I gotta get some new bud pics of that Northern.. That thing's got the fattest nicest buds on it. And it smells nice. The Master has nice tall buds.

After the repot I watered them with some nutes. Using the GH flora series I did 2tsp of micro, .5tsp grow, 2tsp bloom. Also threw in 2stp of Instant Karma. I watered them with that, then topped it off with a little fresh distilled water.

That's all they'll get for a few days. The yellowing has seemed to slow down a bit but might have been my imagination. I was just glad to see healthy roots and no root rot.

Thanks for the help.

2tsp micro and 2tsp bloom is a good start, you dont need the grow, the micro contains plenty of nitrogen. You can add more bloom, like 3tsp thats almost 16ml, 2tsp og micro is almost 10ml, so a little higher than what you want but close.

next time transplant into a bigger potter a week before you cut the lights....22 days yellowing of leaves... theres a problem....after 5-6 weeks thats usually when the leaves start turning yellow.

My twisted purple og doesnt turn yellow at all:leaf:

1tsp is 5ml and 3tsp (15ml) is 1tbsp. :)

Exactly!!! You did a much better job of stating it than I did.

You don't want too much N during flowering, but you don't want to totally cut it out in the early stages of flowering either (which is what a lot of people do).
