Day 30 of flowering, half way there *pics*

I'm at day 30 of 12/12 now. I just switched my nutes to "aggressive" a few days ago. I inspected a few times each day to make sure "aggressive" wasn't too much. So far no yellow tips or signs of nute burn. I have my pH at 5.2 and the day temps with the light on are between 70-74. They are growing a noticeable amount each day. Next week I'm going to try upping the "aggressive" amount that the nutrient calculator recommends to a slightly higher amount with the exception of the Kool Bloom. Too much Kool Bloom early on and you might see some bananas (male flowers) popping out before harvest. I think I might also get my tanks filled and add CO2 to the room. I have always had much bigger results from using CO2. I'll have to turn my exhaust fan down to 50% too keep my CO2 levels stable and raise the room to about 80-85F. CO2 needs temperatures higher than the optimal 72F to be worthwhile. I found that low to mid 80's works best when using CO2.

I'm using a 600w MH for the couple weeks of veg. I'm using an 600HPS for flower. I'm convinced now that MH doesn't have any advantage. I'm going back to HPS the whole way through. Just make sure you don't use the same bulb more than 2 grows, 3 max. You'd be suprised how much intensity they lose after a couple grows once you throw a new one in and see the difference. Get the most out of your electricity and keep your bulbs as fresh as possible.

Looks proper my friend. They look healthy and beautiful, thick buds for 30 days. They look like they have enough N to carry them through the rest of flowering without having to add more than is in typical bloom ferts, but that is just my opinion. I like my girls to yellow out slowly the second half of flower, it really seems to help the taste.

I like to give them Thive Alive B-1 full strenght until half way through flowering and partial strength until flush. It gives them enough N and stress resistance that even when pumping them with tons of Kool Bloom at the end to make them explode it doesn't cause yellow crispy leaves. But yes, there is always lots of yellowing when using KB and I'm sure other blooming enhancers as well. You have to make sure not to hit them hard with KB until the last 2 or 3 weeks before harvest because it can cause little bananas sometimes. I don't mind a few male flowers at the very end since they don't affect strength or taste and they never reach maturity early enough to cause seeds. The payoff from the extra weight of my medicine is very important to me considering you can only do 3-4 harvests a year.
