Day 37 Flower Blue Mystic, She's Sick HELP!!

Hi Guys,

I'd love some input , I'm currently very worried about my blue mystic plant after everything had been going perfectly until Sunday. Today is Thursday and things have gotten worse. Here are some details:

Sunday my plants were completely dry, to the point where I could pick up the pot and know they were dry. I thought, okay, let me water everything real good! I watered everything Sunday night.

I then watered and fed again Tuesday night keeping to my every other day schedule. The plant in question got straight water Sunday night 1.5 gallon , going into 5 gallon pot. And then it got fed it's usual 3 tsp of Fox Farm Tiger Bloom , 1 tsp of Grow big, 1 tsp of CalMagPlus and 1/2 tsp of epsom salts.

The runoff PH was fine but I have to say when I watered on Tuesday, the soil was still pretty moist. Today the soil is still very moist and the conditions have gotten worse! Lots of rust on all fan leaves , some wilting off leaves and some leaves feel damp. The bud sites look to be mostly un-effected. I'm worried I ruined everything!

I have attached a few images of the leaves and the plant. I'd love some input from anyone really. I have a bad feeling I somehow overwatered and have root rot?? If so how can I maybe remedy this?

Thanks!

Do you spray them with anything? All ways shake well.
Slow down on the water not to over compensate. Those leafs look heavy. Check your triclone to see if they are swiveled up. Get a 30x to look for bugs!!!! Clean the roots with H202 33% @ 12mils a gallon. This is important for a few reason. Then right back to simple nutes.

I can't comment on your food. What type of medium are you using? Testing the run off is pointless. Doing ANYTHING based on run off is wrong. You don't water based on every other day that is no reason to water. You water when the plants NEEDS water. That maybe every other day it may not. If it was newly transplanted it should be water the same as it was in the previous pot because that's the size of the root zone. New soil will still be holding water so you don't water until you see run off. Rather you give it the same amount of water as it got in the smaller pot to begin. When it gets well established then you should not water until the pots get "light". Overwatering is bad. Overwatering and sitting in saucers full of water is worse. You can drown a plant if it's waterlogged and the roots can't get fresh air. That's why letting it dry in between is good. As it dries it sucks in more fresh air. That doesn't mean bone dry BTW

IMO it's probably time to stop giving grow nutes, you are over halfway done with the plant and it's bulking now. As well CalMagPlus and Epsom salt are the pretty much the same thing, so it may be a toxicity issue, which is what it looks like. I would look into top-dressing with Epsom salt and then be done with it.

Look into some Clearex as well

you may have to flush it

Goldberg and DankT are on the right track. You've been over watering and sounds like you have been over fertilizing big time. If plants wilted from being too dry that will hurt the roots zone too but if they didn't wilt it's all good there. Let the plants get thoroughly dry but try not to let them wilt then water with plain water for the next several feedings. I'm afraid if you flush your plant now you will just water log it even worse, those roots are in need of oxygen plus since you're using 5 gal pot toxicity probably isn't as big of a problem as nutrient lock out and lack of o2.

Again what kind of soil/mix are you growing in? What size pot? Are you using tap water and if so are the dissolved salts high. i. e. high ppm/ec level?

Thanks for all of the ideas guys. I am growing 3 other plants too in my tent and they are all starting to show similar signs. Freaking out! I am growing in 5 gallon pots with 30% perlite and Fox Farm Ocean Forest. I think I indeed over watered AND over fertilized .... part of me wants to get some clearex and flush everyone out but I'm worried that will just soak them even more! Not really sure what to do , this is coming at the worst time!! :(
