I hear ya man different strains have different transfer times

My KGB strain takes 8-10 days to get to pineapple...My Sour D will take almost 2 weeks.

No, I havent cut nything yet haha. Im noticing a big difference in the buds though. Im gonna maybe start to consider it sunday or monday..

yepper.. start counting the number of days in flower cycle at the exact moment you can possibly determine the sex of the plant. small extra bonus tip --> if you begin to see that the cloudy trichome count is exceeding the number of clear trichomes that means your peak harvest window is quickly approaching --> I have noticed that switching the light spectrum (NOT the light schedule!!) back to blue (metal halide) for a couple days (or even better, ADDING blue - metal halide light along with the red - HPS light) before you enter the actual week of the window can SIGNIFICANTLY increase yield AND potency! (yes, they are separate metrics) <-- micro-biology/evolutionary theory says that THC production was developed over time to shield the all important resin from UV rays during unpredictably-high-UV-light-level-end-of-summer-days.. dont be afraid to give it a good zapping of UV right before the harvest window and you wont regret it.. good luck

Man iv been growing for while and iv never heard of that man! im gonna go thro a MH in my box soon! and thanks for explaining the science behind it. I ussualy wont take advice from someone who doesnt know why he does what he does.

MH also encorages resin production. I use both HPS and MH in my tent. A little "purple maxx" helps too.
