No one can prove you wrong because flushing is bro-science that needs to stop.
Got a salt build up? Flush it.
Finishing a grow? Keep feeding it right to the end.
Flushing is exclusively for clearing out nutrient lockouts, salt build ups and toilets.
People need to stop starving their plants when they claim they want stellar bud.

Oh I'm sorry I must be wrong lol. But Regardless of the flush or not, your marijuana will be pretty much be what it is, by how you took care of it during it's life, from the food and light it receives and all the rest of the mumbo jumbo.. BUT in the end, I use certain stress...I defoliate end of flower which works yet so many say it doesn't
. I stop feeding so the plant uses up all its reserves and focuses on packing weight and not focusing on uptaking nutrients it doesn't even need, just a waste of energy and Landi da di . I dim my lights also ...I reduce the light hours..I give em cold weather and ice water, I give it 48 hours of darkness, amongst other things as well. and perhaps it doesn't work for you but it certainly does for me by seeing the results for myself over the years of trying and testing shit out and not just believing what I hear or read from others, allot don't even know what they are talking about. But that just comes back to the saying what works for me perhaps doesn't work for them, perhaps some are growing weed that should be flushed down the toilet, But each to their own ..do what works for you that's all that really matters not what others believe or say, find out yourself. I could go on about growing for days but I don't have the time on here.

If you are growing organically then I just stop feeding 1 month before harvest. If your using chemicals flushing for 1 month is better than 2 weeks. You want to turn leaves gold & basically drop for white ash. If you want black ash or like choking or want to choke others while inducing headaches it is a good idea to avoid flushing altogether & add a lot of nitrate to mix . Each weed takes different time. So indicas generally 9 to 10 weeks from flip but some sativa like Haze can take 13 weeks. The girls want to produce buds & will feed on leaves for 3 weeks to 1 month. My opinion on any growing of plants is we could live a trillion years & never figure out natural processes & we are very poor at it so all should grow naturally! Well then if plant is in the ground how do you flush. You don't is the answer. Also I warn people to avoid potting mixes with inorganic wetting agents they are not healthy.

Sorry your thread turned into a shit flinging show.
Those are nice looking plants.
Flushing is a very controversial topic, and whenever it is brought up, there will never be agreement.
I personally opt for a fade instead of a flush. I grow in hydro and can watch the uptake of PPM reduce as I near the end of the grow cycle.
When the plant tells me she doesn't need that high of a solution of nutrients, I lower the PPM.
This is just my personal opinion!!!
I believe that if the proper about of nutrients are given during the duration of the grow, then there is no need to flush. However, if the plants have been overfed their entire lives, then yes, a flush may be beneficial.
I would respectfully suggest that you do a bit of studying on the topic, and make your own call.
You will never get a straight answer to your question.

Thanks @lime73 . Read through that humor earlier. Good stuff...it was half tongue in cheek suggesting a book. I honestly think it would be a great seller.
@WillieP is right, it’s hard to get a straight answer on here which is why I wouldn‘t ask for an answer to an issue. Too few folks here with real, scientific, proven Info that are willing to provide it.
