You flush by watering it with 3x the capacity of the plants container (ex. growing in a 1gal container, use 3 gallons of water). Add the water gradually to allow it to run off. At first the water will run off yellow. Thats the salt/nute build up you dont want. After about the 1st gal of water (depending on size of container), it should turn clear This flushes out the nutrients that are still in the soil. After this, you won't need to water for a few days as the soil has been heavily saturated. When you see the need, water with only fresh water as stated by everyone else. Your sweet fruits will have a nute taste if you dont flush/cure properly.
