Day 43 maybe lockout or ph?

I have two autos Strawberry Cheesecake and a 00 Cheese in FFOX. I just bought the Trio Fox Farm Nutes plus added the Boomerang. My rain water ph comes clean at 6.3 when I added these nutes to my water 10ml Grow Big 5ML big bloom and 10 ml of the buds and bloom, 10ml camag and 5ml of boomerang. I feed a a gallon to each plant well I forgot to ph it after adding these liquid nutes. So do I have a lockout issue or maybe my ph was to low? I just watered with straight watwr this last watering and seem to get a little worse. I'm thinking of running one more time after it dries out then adding nutes the nest watering? Also temps are 78-81 and rh 57-60 lights on lights off 70-71 with the same RH. I have TS1000 about 18 inches and 2 mars hydro 300 watts about 16 inches on each side of the TS1000. 20211014_154013.jpg20211014_154003.jpg20211014_153943.jpg

Were they green before this feeding? Or issues before then U started feeding?

At first glance they look hungry…

They kinda been like that, that's what I was thinking but I just feed 4 days ago with what I listed above. And it got worse. So I just flushed with a gallon of water 6.3 ph it's clean rainwater.

I just ordered a ppm/tds meter comes in tomorrow when this soip dries up, I will water again with just water and test thr ppm runoff. And I should fix my problems right? I have never measured ppms only my second indoor grow and first indoor grow with autos.

And I think because when I mixed up tbe fox farm trio I didn't retest the ph and I'm sure it was mad low. And I have ph up drops tonadd for that purpose. So how can I recounted this? Water twice with good water and then re introduce my chems? I'm 2 weeks into flower am I to late to re correct mt mistake?

Rainwater has no minerals to buffer it. Over time it’ll acidify. Yeah it reads 6.x when measured with nutes but when they hit the soil they’ll become acidic. Especially if your soil is already acidic!

Here’s a general rule of thumb I use;

Too low pH = Primary, macro deficiencies (NPK Calcium and Magnesium

Too high a pH = Micro defs (Zinc, Iron, Copper etc)

If you have been using rainwater from the beginning I can almost guarantee your medium is too acidic.

Too help future issues using rain/soft tap water lime your soil (if using peat based soil) at 1tbsp per gallon. It’s also important that once after adding the dolomite lime to leave it for at least a month - wetted with a little water. This will help stabilise the pH for your plants ;)

To flush properly you need to do twice the pot volume!! Not 1 gal lol You basically just watered down ehat food was available to em.

Also for flushing do not use plain water!! Make a mild nute solution. Let’s say half strength of 50/50 grow and bloom with calmag and flush with that - don’t strip the media completely, you want to remove excess which are simply salts which dissolve into the ‘water’ you’re flushing through it.

After the flush time I would top dress with 1tbsp of lime and a good layer of worm castings (if pos) and pour 1 last gallon through and be done.

You’re not gonna see magical improvements because these plants when stressed tend to go into survival mode and finish up but you will help improve your final weight/potency/smell etc

If that plant went from healthy to that after a single feeding, i would guess overfed. One watering in soil without ph'ing water will not do that..
I have never ph'd in soil even with my 8.0 tap

I'd give it plain water pH'd to 8 and see how they respond. I wouldn't wait for it to dry out first either. I'd do it now if it was me.

Yeah if it was perfectly healthy but he said ‘They kinda been like that’ bit vague…

You’d see toxicities which shows As burns on the newest growth. Excess primary nutrients show it on the newest growth first and his plants are super faded.

Deffo pH problem and I suspect it to be low.

@OP buy yourself a pH metre too!

I see nothing but bad results from FF soil the soil is very rich in nutrients then you add to it, think I would either use a soil that contains nutrients added like FF or use a organic soil like bio-bizz light mix and add nutrients but everyone on here who uses FF soil and add nutes seem to have same results, maybe try plain water for a bit personally I wouldn't use the soil next grow mate hope you can sort your problem happy growing

Ok I PhD my city water and it comes back at 8.12, so throw about a half gallon since I just watered yeaturday and see what they do?

I have a PH meter and just ordered me a ppm meter as well it gets here tomorrow and I just calibrated my ph meter so it's correct.

And if I just start using my tap water to water would I cut back on the CaMag I give them knowing that's in the water already or what?

I would lay off everything for a couple of waters see how they look after that how big are your pots? a gallon of water is an awful lot how often are you giving water ?

That works. I have a feeling your soil is acidic from the acid in the nutes. You could use some soluble lime too if you know it's low.

They are 5 gallon pots, about a gallon every 3 days. And it's FFOF I was using dry amendments and don't like them, so I switched to the fox farm trio the last feeding I did. These were my plants October 5th so 9 days ago 20211005_175238.jpg20211005_175226.jpg
