day 48 flowering Kush and haze 400w HPS

hey sike just wondering what ur kush smells like. i lost my og kush somewhere. i had to mistag her. but i do know it doesnt smell like its marked (blueberry). so if u could give me a smell of her maybe i can be sure i am right. thanks man

well the kush just smells like strong weed. where as the haze is much more fruity
i dont know how else to describe it but just strong weed that you would definitely be happy buying.
i have 2 people coming over, because who dosent like to trim a nice branch and ill get them to tell me what it smells like since they dont live where it grows and have become immune to the smell.
on a side note does that happen to everyone? because i dont smell the weed in my house but people come in and smell it right away.

well by ur description og grapefruit i think i have a winner. wow i gave her a little squeeze and the citrus really came out. after back and forth blueberry to kush it smelled the same. hey thanks for that sike. ur b4 looks great. ur after look better good job. nice purple colors on that bud. im gettin so anxious, i still have 3/4 wks left lol o by the way what was ur flower time for the kush + rep to u sir

i just saw the last page, nice harvest..i am about to harvest my white widow and blue dream plants...they look similar to yours with multiple tops...

so the haze is doing great, buds seem to be getting to heavy and flopping over a bit. bud is not huge but seem to be getting denser, and also filling out a bit. harvest for this one is about 2 weeks away
the Kush smoke is nice, seems to be a clear smoke that is easily inhaled (like breathing regular air) high lasted a pretty good time, cant wait after curing a bit
also side note im starting a much larger grow, 32 plants or 24 cant decide going to have a 400hps for flowering weeks 1-2 and 2-4 and a 600hps for flowering weeks 4-6 and 6-8. hoping harvest every 2weeks for a good while, ill have 1 or 2 mothers with CFLs and a cloning chamber again with CFLs im only going to veg then for about 2 weeks then off the the HPS for 12/12.
im thinking of having about 3-4 strains all indica dominant, hoping to keep all plants almost the same height.
depending on how many plants ill grow will look like this

it will be going under the 400 for the first 4 weeks then the rest under the 600, will i be able to cover that many plants with the light? i have a entire bedroom to play with but limited $$ i have a 400w air cooled setup now and the 600 with new fan, carbon filter and everything else is costing me almost 550$
im thinking of building a room indide the room just so i can control it more. would a 10foot wide by 5foot deep be enough room, or could i go smaller? bigger? please i need input on everything. lol

the haze sounds great anxious for minr to harvest. as far as the flowering in stages with the lights dont knoow , my room is 8x12 and 4x8 is flower room i built out of black n white poly . i have 1 1000hps light in it with 7 buckets in it now. wish i had another 1000 watter. i dont have any problem managing 36 plants when i get that many now im in the high 20s to low 30s. with only 1 hps i moved and rotate buckets every day. hope this helps ya not sure if this is what ur lookin 4.

im getting another 600 so i was thinking of a perpetual harvest by moving 8 pants at a time every 2 weeks 1-2 and 2-4 under the 400 and weeks 4-6 and 6-8 will be under the 600.
the size of the room can be anything since i can use the entire room (entire room is more than 20x20) but i only can afford one more light, so im trying to figure out how many plants i can rotate with only 2 lights
16 under each light seems a bit high i guess, would have to have the light pretty far away for complete coverage,
if anyone has any design ideas please let me know
it seems after a bit of reading that 9 plants under a 400w is do-able so 12 is pushing it a bit but would the 600w be able to make up for the 400w being so far away? i plant on getting the plants no taller that 36 inchesand hammer6913 are you having up to 32 plants covered by the one 1000w?

no i have 7 buckets under hps.the rest are veg and clones and beans. i have a clone and bean area and anda veg area.

well with it spread out you should be able to get 7/8? maybecouple more. im figurin like my space 4x8 lookin at my room with another 1000 i figure i could get another 7/8 in with tight walkin space . im headed out to garden to water and take som pics

im now thinking of a 8x5 room and the two lights side by side both air cooled hoods hopefully will keep the temps down i keep measuring what i want and it seems to change daily. 8x5 seems to be the most realistic, i just have to look up how to make a shed and then go buy the wood, hoping to start construction soon enough.
i checked out the grow in your sig and the plants look awesome nice space you got and some diy stuff is well built from the looks of it

thanks sikes, i used 2x2 to cut down on money and built a wall then ya can put drywall on it and just duct tape the seams. or caulk em i used both to keep light goin out and bugs crawlin in . dry wall is cheap. and its easy to cut holes for ur vents.
