First time growing. I am just using basic soil and the British weather which is very hot at the moment. Is my plant growing correctly.

I had no choice but to put it in a large flower pot. But It has holes in the bottom and a couple at the side at the bottom. I'm literally working with the very basics
 
Just a normal photo just use your pinky once it’s fully dry all the way up to your hand what I would do the tap root is as of now going down and searching for more water hope I could help bongsmilie
 
And make sure u go slow with it with little seedlings I use the back of a measuring cup to get it around the base and what I mean I just put a measuring cup on top of my plants then use it as a dome and water the cup if u know what I’m getting at.

Wait can I get clarification? You let them get that dry that your pinky can go in down to your hand? Is that so the seedling roots search down for water?

Yes sir anything past full pinky i like watering This way because I don’t have a soil moisture probe I should get one doe

I dome all of mine. Clear water bottle until they out grow it. Then clear Gatorade bottle until it out grows that as well. Then when u water like he said the dome is already there. Keeps the humidity up for the seedling etc.

Ahhh I don’t need domes because my room is always around 60-65rh and my clone tent is around 75 I usually do babies in their because I know they love their humidity but once I move them from the clone tent then they usually get very crazy

Yea I’m doing autos so I have a mix of flowering and seedlings right now.
