Hey everyone. Like the title says. Anyone with similar experiences.

2 gelato autos. Ts1000 70×70×160.
Growing in soil.
Had an issue with too much light. Had them 20/4. Gradually brought hours down and dimmed light. They currently on 14/10 light running at 75% and the ladies are smiling. Still no sign of flower.

I've contacted seed bank. Waiting for response.

Dem autos ain't autos is the problem. I keep my Mazarilla by Urban Legends under 18/6 from start to finish and they start flowering middle of week 4 and are done 93 days after sprouting.

This plant grew from a seed that fell from the mom and when I went to get the mom to harvest the fem seeds found it sprouted next to the mainstem so cut down the mom and left it in the pot. Sprouted May 5 and on May 29 now has been flowering for a week. Just got it's first spray of STS today as it's going to be a pollen donor for the F2 seeds I'll make with it on plants I will grow outside this summer.

These are the two I grew outside last summer. Going for 6 this year in a sunnier spot so should get bigger than these but got 6oz off each so not bad for a late start and heat domes. Fan leaves were removed earlier the day I took this pic as they were getting chopped the next day on Sept. 11. It snowed and dropped to -10C 4 days after the chop.

Now I just need an all CBD auto that grows as nice as these do.

You're doing a great job growing those but I'd flip to 12/12 to get them flowering before they take over your tent.

You could just flip them and just treat them like a photo , but keep light schedule static ( no back and forth ) .
Growth looks pretty uniform. As far as banks go , sometimes shit gets mixed up ( especially if they pull them out of original breeder packs ) .
So you might even end up with a totally different plant too .

Most banks specifically state they will not entertain “ germination “ questions as they sell seeds as souvenirs and do not want to give growing advice.

Regardless of that you should still be getting 'souvenirs' that live up to their stated qualities. So many of these expensive seed banks do little to make sure the half-assed breeders they source from actually know what they're doing. F1s that anyone can make for the price of F8 IBLs that some breeder has poured countless hours and love into making are ripping a lot of growers.

Most lines with all the 'cool' names are such inbred mongrels with so many parents in their family trees that they almost all are bland representatives of what pot should be. But hey! With 30% THC who gives a f*ck eh. :)

So glad I know enough growers and decent amateur breeders that are willing to share or trade that I don't have to rely on seed banks for great seeds. On Friday I picked up a vial of fem pollen a member sent me from Ontario. Chocolate Diesel should make some interesting crosses and he's going to follow up with some seeds of the same once they are ripe.

Parental Info

PAPA (Clone Reversed): Chocolate Diesel is a heavy-yielding, sativa-dominant cross (made by Maphial in the mid-2000’s) that was offered only as an auction-item and was rare from its very beginning. The line brings together genetics from the Reservoir Seeds’ “Sour Diesel” (a v1.5-version male-selection) and Dutch Flowers’ “Chocolate Trip” (Katsu’s F1-Cut).
