Day 56 . How many more days would you say ?

Hi I’m in day 56 flower, I have a lot of brown hairs on most of the 62 day strains and maybe around 30 % brown hairs on two late starters( gglue/zkittles ) you think 65 days would secure some stronger buds ?

Yeah they look good depending on personal preference I would let them go another week. But they look really good and as everyone else said the only real way to tell is check your trichs with a jewelers loop

6 days 2 hours and 31 minutes left to go...

of course there is no way to tell from a picture like that unless it is through a scope where we can clearly see the trichomes.

About a week more at most. Invest in a cheap comma loupe. 20X will be closer to 10X actual but is enough to check trichomes. About $5 on Amazon.
Looking to get a macro lens for my nikon dslr for some badass macro shots of trichones to hang up around the grow room.

I've always used loupes in the past but I'm thinking the macro lense is gonna be great for checking trichs as I approach harvest in about a month.

I have a Nikon D3200 and want a macro badly. I live in Interior Alaska and the wildflowers are all tiny. The largest are the wild roses and they’re as big as a silver dollar. Everything else is tiny. Plus good closeups of frosty bud. My old Yashica doesn’t have the same mount.

Not sure if it's compatible with your model (it should be) but for the price and reviews, can't really beat it...

Looks like 10-14 days on the first ones to me. They have lots of red hairs(stigma) but they don't look like they have swollen much yet. The last 1-3 weeks AFtER the stigma receed the plants will still be packing in weight internally. I've seen branches bend over in a matter of a couple days right at the end. You will notice the individual calyxs(bracts) begin to look plump. That is when you should check the trichomes.

The plant in the third picture still has lots of fresh growth on it. So I would guesstimate it needs 20+ days still.

This is straight water time for me. Or close. I do use scopes.

Yep these last 1-3 weeks after the pistils change is when it makes plenty of sense to go with straight water.

That being said I feed right till harvest because of how I run my perpetual cycles. I've tested plain water at the end and never noticed any change in flavor or smell. But the plants certainly don't need the nutes at that point so it saves money and time to do plain water.

I reuse my Pro Mix. Dump it outside for the rain and snow to finish leaching. Some of it has 4 grows and even seedlings don’t get funky in it. I agree. I’ve fed to the end and dried well followed by jarring and I got good tasting clean burning bud. I try to start flowering so that I’m harvesting on a full moon. Learned that from my father who learned it from his going way back. Plant on the new moon. Harvest on the Full. They don’t call it the Harvest moon for no reason. Much less water in the plant.

That just went into my cart. Not next month but before Christmas. Thanks. I’m a Prime member like everyone else in Alaska.
LMAO NICE!! Glad I could help. If you don't mind, please tag/send me some photos when it arrives! I'm really eager to get one myself and may end up just pulling the trigger this weekend. I've been holding off until I get a bit closer to harvest but at $110 it's not gonna break the bank! lol

Also - it seems like everyone in the US is a prime member these days lol

So I got a 40 x loop and I have 5-10% amber trichomes on most of them and the rest are like 80% cloudy and 20% clear but as I looked at one plant I could see dull brown colouration on a top bud and the sugar leaves was yellow , as I pulled them they instantly came away from the bud like they was not attached , I cut the bud off and checked for more but only the one bud on this plant is like that but I do have to say this plant smells musky compared to the others now I’m paranoid if this plant can spread to the others etc the mold ? Under a microscope the bud looked like it had white fluff / cream /silk kind of web formed in the middle of bud , do I chop this one now or let her finish ? Here is the bud I cut and also the plant which doesn’t seem to finishing like the rest either . My humidity has always stayed at 37/40
