DB's Hempy Perpetual/Breeding experiment

Okay so two of 4 clones from JB #2 have popped roots out of the peat pellets. I am out of room in my vegbox, so instead of going directly into thier 5 quart hempys i put them in a "Parkay" hempy (Thank you StoneSlacker!) and culled the other two. There was what looked like a little mold fuzz on the peat pucks, so i mixed up 2 tbsp of 3% h202 with 1 gallon of water. I put this in my spray bottle and spayed each of the pucks, and all the surfaces of my "gladwareclone2020". I also watered the new clones into thier Parkay hempy's with this solution.

I am excited about these two, they will be the first clones to go into flower for my breeding experiment. The next two are JB #1 and Ill be cutting 2 more clones off my indica tomorrow. So far timing is working out well.

Looking good man. I feel ya on the overcrowded, I thought I was gonna do 3 plants at a time, now I have 16 and am thinking WTF lol.

Glad to have you aboard dude! I know, i didnt even cut clones last week because of it. I was going to upgrade to a 600 in the flower, and build a new veg box for the moms on one of the 150s, but i think is not financially advisable at the moment, so im thinking of getting another clamp light and some splitters and put both clamp lights in the veg box. I just dont have another custom cfl fixture in me lol

Yea I had that same problem yesterday when I transplanted into the bigger pots. Got them all done and was like well shit...how do i get the cfls in there to cover correctly. Can't wait to afford a new metal halide or get one of my old ones from the crazy ex wife. For now I running the cfls as best I can and also running the 1000 watter. Scared to see my electricity bill, but such is life.

You can build veg boxes pretty sneakily or super cheap. Can be as simple as some cheap 1x1x8 boards-.98 cents at home depot and a roll of panda film. Or look on CL for a free dresser and modify it! Just an idea

I actually use Home Depot wardrobe boxes. They are expensive but self contained and the dresser bar makes a great light hanger, holds up to 25lbs. I haven't worried too much yet about the reflectivity of the walls, but I probably should.

How much do those run? Might have to throw one of those in the other side of my closet for veg

like 10 bucks dude. if you panda plastic the inside (i just use trashbags on the floor to waterproof, and try to be careful with spillage) or paint it flat white, i bet it would perform a lot better but these things are killing it for me.

that looks like a lot less headache then trying to frame the veg box up around the ducting for the fan and all that. Might have to get one of those for my veg side! I prob have enough panda film left to make a door for the front and line the inside.

My little Jb#2 are in thier parkays, but jb2-2 doesnt look very happy. I just had another clone pop some roots outta the peat puck and i am thinking of replacing it.

Thanks man, but i cannot take the cred! The idea came right here from RUI i think. I've read so much over the past 3 years it kinda all blends. Alot of folks are skidish about using cardboard, but i love the stuff. My veg light is made out of a American Standard Cast Iron tub box. Thing was at least 3/4 in thick. I was actually able to cut channels into it for the wires lol.

seems to be happening to alot of people lately, whats the matter with RIU??

I feel like the trolls have subsided. For me at least in the past year.

You used to not be able to post a single seed recommendation or nute brand comment without being raped by people with 2 posts on there user names, then more people on his (mostly retarded) side who seemingly all joined in the month youre currently in and have only posted on your post.
