DC volt/watt meter for drivers

i have one of these on a single QB and it’s super handy.

Now I want one on my new light, but I don’t think the same one will work. I’m running four ChilLed logic pucks on an HLH-320h-c1750b. The chart says the voltage will be 91-183V and 79 watts each, but the meter is good for 6.5-100V

So, can you recommend a similar meter that will work for me?

Don`t worry about giving it more than 100v
I use one between an HLG-240H-C2100A & 2 HLG QB288 V2`s and the volt flashes "99.99v" (error)
All I need to know is the watts which works perfect so all good.

Very interesting. How many volts are running through yours?

Thanks. I’m still a little worried about 183V on mine.
I’m ignorant and fearful. I worry that if it blows it will hurt my driver or my pucks.

Same here. 999v error. No biggie.
Works fine with 1750b and 5x vero29 cobs. I dim to about 240watts.
Maxxed here.

I hooked mine up. It didn’t blow up. The watts display works, voltage shows 99.99
What I don’t like is that every time I power it up the lcd backlight flashes on and off, drives me crazy. If I hit the button three times it will stop flashing, but I have to do that every time it turns on. Boooooo

Bummer. If I had that issue..... Might just cover the display with thin cardboard. Easy to uncover for viewing when making adjustments.

Use a kill-a-watt meter or am I missing something here?


As stated, you really only need the wattage and you can pretty much just go from there as a basic way to gauge.

I just don’t want to buy a kill a watt for each driver and it’s a hassle moving it from driver to driver. I’m cheap and lazy.

I feel you, I was looking into different options too or atleast what’s considered a quality kill a watt meter they are just bulky plus my timers a lot going on
