Yea, saw they rounded up a couple more this week. Must be something about their honest faces at DCSE, you guys keep trusting them. Their growth is really startling and amazing to see, the the weed business is booming like the internet all over again.

I tend to agree with you especially on the variations within F1 poly-hybrids. You also get into some issues with HIPA and not being a doctor, etc. Some breeders such as DJ Short breed for "effect" to help with specific issues like anxiety (Blue Heaven comes to mind) or PTSD for example. We do include that information from the breeders in the strain descriptions so people can use the search feature to find those particular strains, but DCSE itself does not make those recommendations or claims. We work with a lot of vets and in my experience each one if different. I've got a vet buddy who wouldn't smoke "sativas" due to his PTSD and anxiety. I then introduced him to a C99 cross from Green Work Seeds and now he can't get enough sativa strains in his life and has never felt better. I am afraid unfortunately at this point in time all we have is anecdotal evidence along with trial and error which is why I try to encourage people to review their strains on our website to help other growers in selecting their beans.
So do I have to just order every strain or just about any seed and hope I get lucky that it might help with the effects I am looking for?

Made an impluse buy with Amos Otis' (Brisco Beans) Sweet Dixie last night. Suffice to say that I made the right call cuz all 5 remaining packs were sold out by morning. BBB has some straight fire mamas (FPOG cross, orgi) and Amos is such a cool, experienced dude, I think everyone should try to jump on a pack before they're all gone

It takes time and research dude. The best strain for my depression and back pain may not be the same as yours or anything close. Me personally I stay away from Leafly. From what I’ve read they compile information on strains for another company that is Basically run by the government. Screw them. Some things you just have to look up on your own. Shoot Paul an email, he’s more than happy to help. That’s what we’re all here for. I would check out some strains that are higher in cbd based off what you’ve written. We’re dealing with genetics of plants, different growing styles and environments, there’s a lot of things to take into consideration. Your definitely in the right spot at riu, and an even better seedbank that’s US based.
