I like it, but believe simply calling for the Secretary of Health and Human Services to conduct the long overdue medical and scientific study of Marijuana and Schedule I is the only way to really end this game and cease this racket IMHO

Well then it will surely be legal soon enough... heard monsanto is working on a ganja plant they can put their name on :(. Not sure if this is just stoner paranoia at its finest but i do know bayer already holds a weed related patent for some strain.
Its a step forward legislatively but feel it will have the same effect eric holders order to refocus efforts....nothing.

As soon as corporate America figures out how to fleece everyone for trillions off of marijuana it will be re-scheduled.
That's true brother, but that's what has been going on for years right under our noses. We can see/watched this with MI Senate bill 660 locally, and other corporate/government schemes nationwide and in Canada. This obstruction has a purpose and backroom deals are being finalized as we speak. See as the inevitable end faces down this Schedule I criminal prohibition racket, these criminals (Racketeering = Felony) are looking to sell off the most profitable pieces to the highest bidder/best crony and need the time (election cycles) to do just that. In the end the AG will simply be forced to shutter the LEO/DEA MJ scams and hand the baton over to the ATF & IRS to give them a stab at raping and pillaging us this century ;) I'm not sure I'll be around for those arguments, but I can imagine many today :bigjoint:

Well it looks like the clowns in the US Senate Appropriations Committee stripped out the house's DEA prohibition of funds aimed at legal marijuana states. The racket continues unabated ...

Unreal. I guess a clear majority amongst voters doesn't mean anything to these guys anymore.
